Yep, am calling this as the end of Bitcoin, it may drag on for a while, but it's dead.
On the 13th of Janurary 2013 the price of Bitcoin was 13 USD.
As I write this response to your post the price of Bitcoin is 885.5 USD on Bitstamp.
That is more than a 6800% increase for the year.  No other investment opportunity has seen such growth.
Perhaps you were referring to the US Dollar? "dragging on for a while, but it's dead"

Whats the purpose of this threat?

The OP is a person who sows discord on this forum by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory messages, with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response.

Isn't that a troll?   Grin

BTC ain't going anywhere any time soon.  Just sit back, buy if you are able, and watch them go back up!

rebounded over 800 just now..

The swings are huge atm. There is no point reporting the price every time it dips 100$ or jumps a hundred. It can take days or even weeks for the things to stabilize.

People are selling their bitcoins and they try to spread despair so they can buy later at a cheaper price. Just ignore him since he is doing it in such an obvious way.

Like all things there are bumps in the road. Its going to continue crashing and rising with such dramatic until its no longer treated like a commodity and more like the currency it was intended to be. When people actualy start spending it instead of trading it the value will fi.d a stable level.

Its far from dead but its definitly nerve racking.

People need to understand that any commodity, stock, investment will never shoot straight up.  Usually there are dips to fill the gaps.  There was a huge gape between 600 and 1000 which was never filled.  That's what's happening.  Once the gap is filled, things will stableize and have a higher base for the next leg up.
