Yes,  it's actually is. Since  bitcoin doesn't use paper money unlike the national currency that we have in every country.  It's much more environment friendly since we don't have to cut or use plants or leaves to make banknotes and mine copper and etc to make coins.

I think that Bitcoin is not good for the environment. Bitcoin mining has expended a large amount of power of the world. China is the bitcoin mining best.

A lot has been said about mining and about the electricity consumption of the activities related to bitcoin mining. However, I have thought of the alternatives and how other systems produce not just energy waste, but also plenty of useless work and "human waste".

To have a network that can ensure the completeness of transactions, the global accessibility and all the features that bitcoins, and many alts, have at the moment, would probable produce a huge carbon footprint. Just think of the VISA system or the banking system... the amount of people working on it, the waste of commuting to works, the infrastructure.

Thinking of all that, would you still say Bitcoin is bad for the environment?
I think the bitcoin mining will cost less than printing cash so much so that bitcoin also makes it possible for people to trade with each other conveniently and quickly. And that is the benefit that the bitcoin can later grow stronger because it is the technology that was born to help people.

if I think bitcoin is very good for the environment bro. even a lot of people who can change their economic life can be better because they invest in bitcoin bro. instead, bitcoin provides opportunities for the poor to become millionaires

the assumption that we are already familiar with bitcoin is like that but different from everyone who does not know bitcoin. sometimes they think negatively first. so it's different from us, our opinion about bitcoin is definitely good, because we already feel for ourselves how bitcoin travels and how it feels to get results from bitcoin.
Even though people around us or in our environment are not all interested in bitcoin, but with us doing good things from the income we earn from bitcoin or crypto, they will realize that bitcoin is not a negative thing. That way we have influenced many people positively from bitcoin.

I think bitcoin has an impact on the environment but that's just a small number. It's a lot easier than printing a lot of cash, and bitcoin also makes it easy for people to trade easily without much effort. Considering that, it really is a bitcoin to be considered a coin. future

No, Bitcoin can not be good for the environment because of the electricity which consumes to mine Bitcoin. Of course, comparing with banks, the electricity of Bitcoin is not remarkable. However, the electricity of Bitcoin made up about 1% the electricity of the world. We also should find a new solution for this problem.

I think it's not an important problem, so take it for granted when people think bad about bitcoin. maybe they don't understand the bitcoin mining system, which can produce more than work

77 KWH is the minimum power level for a Bitcoin transaction.
Bitcoin exploitation is seriously affecting the environment as Bitcoin price growth has increased the demand for electricity to exploit the world's largest electronic money. In addition to energy consumption, Bitcoin also has a major impact on the environment because of carbon emissions. According to data obtained from a Bitcoin mining facility in Mongolia. By exploiting a BTC, the facility will emit about 8,000 to 13,000 kilograms of carbon dioxide, nearly 24,000 to 40,000 kilograms of CO2 per hour of mining.

I don't think bitcoin mining has that major impact to the environment, on the daily basis, electricity wastes are already present even before bitcoin has existed, therefore bitcoin is just an adding factor to problems present upon its usage, and merely not the cause of the problem itself.
most likely very influential because all the electronics used by bitkoin miners use electricity, especially cellphones and computers, even laptops are all dependent on electric power, therefore the impact is very large for the bitcoiner miners if the electricity goes out so electricity goes up so the bitcoin is also go up, I guess that's the reason for a little of my knowledge, maybe from another bro, please add.

Of course, bitcoin will be a good help for our environment. So it is best to do the bitcoin mining farms to put its mining palnt in a cool and somewhat clever area surrounded by nature's work, Because its mining rig produces radiation so that if it is located in a mountainous area it will be contrary to such things.

the way bitcoin is working now its not good for the environment. maybe in the future that will change but saying as of right now nothing can change fact that bitcoin mining is using a lot of electricity

Indeed, mining is not the main cause nor the major contributor of environmental waste, but it is undeniable that it does leave a substantial amount of carbon footprint that adds up to the already damaged environment we live in.

You see, even producers of mining rigs know this for a fact. That is why we keep on seeing innovation left and right on how to better cool down the systems and make it more process efficient to increase power efficiency too. Big mining setup even produce noise pollution too and this is being address with new designs to lessen both power consumption and noise.

To have mining systems that would use lesser electricity is really a big of a deal as we know that as soon as global adoption starts, pool of miners will sprout all over the world making the damaging effects of mining rigs even more.

Bitcoin’s infrastructure needs are orders of magnitude smaller than fiat currency, and that’s just focusing on the resources to create the fiat currency itself. Bitcoin allows users to replace major use-cases of banks with their phones. You do not need a trusted third party to store your wealth or to participate in the global economy when you use Bitcoin. The faster the world adopts Bitcoin, the quicker we can reduce the environmental footprint of all of that paper/metal currency!

In order to make Bitcoin work, you need electricity, computers, and the internet. That’s it. Fiat currency requires resources to print the money, oversight in order to make sure it is being allocated correctly, fraud services, entire organizations devoted to preventing counterfeiting, money transport services, and more. Due to larger amount compared to Bitcoin, fiat money way waste electricity than Bitcoin, I think.

If Bitcoin continues to grow, the demand for solar energy will increase as folks rush to find cheaper ways to generate power. Additionally, renewable energy sources occasionally produce a surplus of electricity. Burning some of the surplus electricity to mine Bitcoin would offset the cost of running renewable energy sources, making them even more efficient. So I think Bitcoin is good for the environment.

Yeah right those problems existed for more decades now and it keeps getting worse now. I think bitcoin don't have any big changes impacted the environment this days.

One reason why environmental crises occur, such as the exploitation of natural resources and excessive pollution, is due to the global economy, where there are only business people who do business without much accountability. When you buy something, you don't know where it came from, how it was made. There are many intermediaries, and it's easy to cheat. Cheating, in this case, means more than just companies that lie about where they throw their trash. And actors can be anyone, including the country, "but with the presence of bitcoin and blockchain technology can prevent that from happening. Cheesy
