Yes, it is certain that Bitcoin is good for the environment. It does not have an adverse effect on the environment. Hopefully electricity consumption for mining Bitcoin has several effects on the environment. But we think that there must be restrictions on the use of mining and electrical energy every day.

Comparing it to traditional banking system, bitcoin uses less electricity than the banks. Not only do they use electricity during business hours, but also those ATMs that are open 24/7. Cryptocurrency, on the other hand, do not take that much energy per transaction, which makes it better than traditional banking. Because it is paperless, the amount of electricity you will be using will be less.
Yeah bitcoin is environmentally friendly, especially compared to cash/ physical money requires basic material from paper and if I'm not mistaken, paper is taken from tree wood and of course it's not good for the environment. whereas btcoin is on the internet network, which means wherever you are you can access it only with a gadget. I think it's already very good for the environment
Yes, I agree with you sir because bitcoin is an electronics form of money and go with the flow of world's advance digital technology through internet system, even though there are some arguments that bitcoin is a waste of energy because of bitcoin mining but still it can't directly point out as waste because we know that there are more green energy to be use as a source of electrical energy.

At the beginning of the launch, bitcoin is often ridiculed and insulted or underestimated by those who hate it. However, when virtual currencies have transformed into new investment instruments that are increasingly popular, bitcoin is often linked to acts of crime, money laundering, etc. Not only that mining activities too, often get scathing attention from various parties and they assume that bitcoin mining can adversely affect the environment and waste electricity.

A lot has been said about mining and about the electricity consumption of the activities related to bitcoin mining. However, I have thought of the alternatives and how other systems produce not just energy waste, but also plenty of useless work and "human waste".

To have a network that can ensure the completeness of transactions, the global accessibility and all the features that bitcoins, and many alts, have at the moment, would probable produce a huge carbon footprint. Just think of the VISA system or the banking system... the amount of people working on it, the waste of commuting to works, the infrastructure.

Thinking of all that, would you still say Bitcoin is bad for the environment?

IMO, bitcoin doesn't adversely affect the environment just the opposite. Bitcoin has provided evidence to us, that it can improve the economy of a person by means and the ability of each, not even a few people who become new millionaires because of it. For me, bitcoin's better than conventional currency. Bitcoin mining activities are not the same as gold mining activities, because this activity only comes from electricity. I think if bitcoin miners are still able to pay for the electricity they consume this's a legitimate act and this's not detrimental.

Bitcoin mining is not too affecting environment in a harmful way. Mining only need some resources like electricity, and just produce heat.
cryptocurrency mining will stay good for environment unless there are some wrong way to generate electricity that producing harmful waste products.

Our ears may be familiar, with negative statements made by governments, politicians, or third parties who hate bitcoin. Bitcoin's one of the financial components that are hated by the government, it's very natural that they give a negative color to bitcoin, and how to procure it namely mining. I never thought, that bitcoin's bad for the environment because basically, bitcoin's just a media or digital device, that we can use, both as a payment medium and as an investment asset

Oh,before I speak about the hazards of mining bitcoin, let him first clean up the garbage Islands out of the ocean! There are many much more harmful things and industries than mining and blockchain technology.Yes, of course, a lot of energy is consumed.BUT this is not critical and ways to improve already in development. You just need to repurpose some devices so that they do not work in vain.Consumption will decrease in the near future.Compare how much old and new devices consume.New all energy saving. The same is waiting for mining.

You should have been more focus on other things that polute the environment rather than seeing bitcoin as a the one who polute the entire environment. Bitcoin mining doesn't contribute big energy consumption compared to banks that use a huge amount of electricity in their daily transactions.
i think almost all everything that need energy will not be good for  environment. But, there are a lot of thing and project that  use natural environment to do crypto thing like mining with solar panel, etc. It is better to develop something like that than compared everything that bad for environment

Of course there are several alternatives that can help reduce the carbon footprint generated by bitcoin, although compared to the pollution produced by industries of similar value, bitcoin seems to be little harmful to the environment. It is true that perhaps the environmental factor was not taken into account when designing the creation of bitcoin, but it is also undeniable that bitcoin is in the process of decay and new altcoins less energy consumers will take its place.

Basically its environmentally friendly. Compare it to deep hole mining and literal mining. Also ASIC makes BTC mining more envi friendly

Well, they say that the first step to knowledge is acceptance of truth!

Any activity that leaves a carbon footprint is deemed damaging to our environment. And with that truth, there's no arguing that bitcoin (and the mining process it involves) does pose a hazard to mother earth as it consumes much electricity to keep those nodes up for continuous transaction verification and recording.

And as a general rule of acceptance, knowledge shall follow suit.  That's why operating nodes try to be more energy efficient in many ways they could. Some are even studying which cryptocurrency is more energy friendly to mine. And some even suggested to move from proof of work to proof of stake to cut down the massive amount of energy spent in trying to validate a transaction (though we might see this first in altcoins much sooner than bitcoin).

So i'm pretty sure that the hazard poised by bitcoin will soon be lessened (with fingers crossed).

I believe that we can oversee it by doing some natural particular spots to mine bitcoin there, similar to some Forest out of the city research facilities in which we would store the majority of this GPUs and mine it there

I hate to say that but bitcoin never will be good for environment. Mining is still energy-hungry and it's obviously bad for our planet. I think we'll see sanctions by governments in near future. I can't foresee how it influence bitcoin price.
I think that you may get surprised very soon as atomic fusion revolution is at our doorstep. That's why carbon tax was introduced, to milk people as much as possible, while we are still in dirty energy era. I really do hope that fusion is close and all our problems will be no more. As for today you are probably right, some stupid restrictions will be introduced.

I've heard many times they're opinion and I support that only human is responsible to make the actions not bitcoin and not cryptocurrency itself is responsible, as any act of goodness and positiveness is respective to human.

agree with your words, indeed everyone who has an opinion must also be responsible. because everything is seen from proof, not just speech. so need proof to be able to believe.
