I do not think that bitcoin can also lead to corruption because the transaction is recorded online and any person who transfer their coins are available online so if any person will think for to launder the money especially in the situation when the exchange will have his identity then he will put himself in trap.

Especially, if 1 bitcoin would be worth dozens of thousand of dollars (if not hundreds). Further, we should not forget about physical bitcoins like Casascius coins or OpenDime devices. These make Bitcoin a perfect tool for bribery. You can literally pack millions of dollars in just one flash stick and give it almost unnoticed. Even if something goes awry and you get caught red-handed, you can claim that this is just a USB stick with some insignificant reports
If someone is adamant to do something they will find a solution even if there are many restriction involved.Yes it is possible that millions of dollars can be transferred with the help of a USB stick but it is hard to acquire these kind of money and convert it to bitcoin without the help of a bank,if not you have to be a big time miner or with the help of a miner group .So i cannot consider this as a realistic situation.

The price of the bitcoin is unstable, a month can go up to 50% but could drop by up to 50%, it is very risky for the corruptor to save money because there is no money opportunities bitcoin runs out.
Funny you consider this as an issue for the corruptor, although this not seems to be a big problem for them. As long as they store and keep their bitcoin no matter how low the price of bitcoin at the moment, they can still wait for it to increase. I think the biggest reason of them using bitcoin is that to hide their corrupted money so that they will not easily get caught.

We must remember that the bitcoin fluctuations are still balanced even though they are often up and down, we can see the current bitcoin prices, and if viewed from corruption, this is not a big deal because the most important thing for them is by Washing their money as much as possible, depreciation is inevitable , Bitcoin is not money that can be lost and this is the entrance to speculate from corruptors.

No don't just disregard bitcoin as money, because if it's not a money why isn't you spend it to buy what you liked to spend on some goods. In fact more people were now using bitcoin as their mode of payment system online, particularly those digital currency users. Although speculations were normally happening in the market, it's not assurance of no corruption with bitcoin; but if those hidden transactions made of corrupt people which their bridge is through bitcoin. I think that is beyond our control and yet bitcoin is having it's own freedom of any transactions, as long as requirements is completely complied.

True, one of the cast of corruptors is political lol. If they know the bitcoin well. Maybe they will wash their money with bitcoin because it is much safer for their identity

Since politicians are known to steal huge amounts of money I doubt bitcoin or any other coin will have enough volume so they can buy coins without disturbing the market, and also it will be almost impossible to try to tumble such a huge amount of coins

Corruption does not depend on money. Bitcoin nothing to do with. What corrupt officials do not take bribes in dollars? Even if the money is not at all they will take bribes of gold and products. It seems to me that it's just a reason to fight bitcoin.

That's right! it is not a problem even if the price of bitcoin will suddenly get low for some reason, all we know is that it will also go high after time and the corruptor just have to choose a perfect time to withdraw his/her corrupted money. The point here is not the price of bitcoin at a specific time, but the ways that bitcoin can be used and lead to corruption.

Correct, as long as the corrupt official see bitcoin as money, cha-ching, there would not be problem for them. Corruptors can even change it to fiat easily without having to go any KYC or AML regulators. As long as the corrupt official can get hold of the bitcoin in return of a certain favor we can't do anything about it. But its not bitcoin fault. Bitcoin has also so many good use to start with not just in illegal activities.

Yes of course it is not bitcoin that is at fault. It is just a medium that users tries to use just for evil intents.
The government saw that. They can get something out of it so why not try to get a hold of it.
Are there no corrupted government now? They spent so much money just to get that position and just how much will they get from their salary. Not even half of all the campaigns they did amd spent with.
I will not be shocked if someday they will put a high tax with bitcoin usage.

So you are more worried about the corruptor rather than those people that are going to be affected with his corruption? Actually bitcoin is opening a lot of opportunities and advantage for better but on the other side, people that has dark plans can use those good things for their bad motives.

As far as I can judge about what is happening in each country, regardless of the social level of the inhabitants, corruption is present everywhere and everywhere. But it's worth remembering about very interesting qualities in Bitcoin which in turn can not be eradicated, but rather promote corruption.

I agree they would disturb the market of bitcoin because of buying or sending huge amount of bitcoin. But the problem is sending bitcoin is very anonymous so i think it would be difficult to track it or sort of know who owns that wallet. On the other hand politicians will steal in terms of money because money is always money so they would steal it

Bitcoin will only help the development of corruption. Corruption can exist with any currency, and with bitcoin it will be anonymous and promising.

Exactly, corruption is everywhere as long there is money involve whether it is crypto or not they will exist.

And for those corrupt people they really can see the advantage upon using bitcoin because of it's anonymity.

They can't be tracked when they start using this for that purpose but I don't encourage people to use this in corruption.

This is a great invention that be used properly but it's a fact that there are people that will abuse it.

Exactly, human is very clever to think so many ways just to have money easily, whether it came from good or bad ways. But to think, how can we manipulate corruption in decentralize coin?
Honestly, There are some ways to manipulate the corruption through the decentralized coin. Through the decentralized coin that means its lack of regulation.

This time I just think about money laundering. Through the decentralized system, the abuser is able to launder his money through sent it on the ecosystem.

It will be mixed for naturally.

i wonder why bitcoin always be linked with things that are not good such as corruption, money laundering or drugs but in this case in my point of view bitcoin cannot lead people to corruption because it all pure from the bottom of their heart to starting corruption but indeed bitcoin could be the tool to storing corruption money

It is because bitcoin is an open source which can be use for legal and illegal activities. If ever bitcoin use in any illegal activities these are the people who are sowed with greediness. They are abusing the good reputation of and quality system of bitcoin. And this must be stop actually, Only the government can do this.

Anyone criminals or corrupt if they already know the anonymous and decentralized advantages of bitcoin. They will surely make use of it for illegal activities. Such as money laundering

Money laundering entirely differs from corruption. For both the needs bitcoin can be used due to the nature it's been developed. Being anonymous helps users make transactions without revealing end to end identity but with transparency in the value move. Right now Money laundering happens much through bitcoin than corruption as politicians were not much aware of cryptocurrencies

Money laundering is not corruption itself, of course

But both of these things are still closely affiliated, so to speak. Money laundering can exist on its own, but it typically follows an instance of corruption, especially if money is involved. For example, if you have been given a bribe, i.e. a big amount of money, you won't be able to spend it directly and right away. Wtf, you won't be able even to put it in a bank since this will inevitably trigger alarms and raise questions as to where you got all this pile of money from. So you will have to launder it, i.e. find a plausible explanation that you, in fact, earned all this wealth through hard work and weren't just bribed
With bitcoin it's hard for you to trace if you will launder your money when some exchanges will not cooperate or will not be regulated by the government, we have services like bitcoin mixer where for me a good way to launder your money, however I am not saying it will not be trace, it is just hard to trace because you go through with different address. Smart people knows how to effective launder their money, and don't even put your money in the bank without a ready explanation because banks are regulated by the government to report suspicious transactions under the memorandum issued by the AMLC

Everything counts in large amounts

If you are moving around just a few bitcoins, you will go almost unnoticed primarily because you are worth neither time nor effort spent on tracing your transactions. In other words, you are a small fish evading taxes or engaged in minor criminal activity like selling weed or prescription drugs on the Darkweb, so it is no surprise that no one gives a fuck you (unless you lose all fear and caution, of course). All the fun begins if you are going big time and about to cash out, say, a few million dollars. That will surely attract plenty of attention and will likely raise a lot of questions as well as suspicions. You will quickly learn how fast Bitcoin transactions can in fact be tracked down (ask Ross Ulbricht)
