Yes bitcoin can be used for good. Here in the philippines we use coins.ph bitcoin wallet that uses our bitcoin as payment for our electric bill, water bill, and credit card bill. It is also used to recharge prepaid credits and to buy steam wallet codes.
Of course that bitcoin can be used for good! There are a lot of nonprofit organisations that contribute to humanitarian causes. Since the begining, bitcoin was used for charitable campaigns and has served has a tool to help many organisations.

I think bitcoin is already beginning to be used for things that are good, even though there are still many people use for illegal things, but someday may bitcoin only be used for things that are fine
Of course it can be used for good, now its not the time cause the price is going up, but one usage for good, is when you convert it to FIAT and add up your balance to your bank account, a few extra money is good for anyone of us here I think. Bitcoins are now a days are being used for good purposes also. More will be the popularity of coin better will be its use. I am currently using it for mobile recharge and online shopping. I had also bought pizza with bitcoins a few times. The app that I am using for mobile recharge is currently working on options like paying electricity bills with bitcoins.
