Guys, you seriously need to stop with the FUD in here, the price is never going to drop to that price + this thread was created more than three months ago, when the price was roughly $4000 - $7000 at that time, so there is no need to reply in here anymore.

Of course Bitcoin can drop to 3K, but that's not likely. It's clear that Bitcoin is having hard times and 20K seems very far away, but we've seen how fast the price can increase. The lowest price bitcoin can drop to is 8K, but that will not happen in a short time. And if the price drops to 10K it will rise again to maybe 30K.

Although theoretically it is possible, the conditions for a fall of such magnitude do not seem to be given, because on the contrary everything seems to indicate that we are going through a stage of consolidation in the market and today more than ever the perspectives regarding bitcoin seem quite optimists.

Bitcoin price today is $13,787.21. Is there a possibility that it will drop to $3000.00? Who knows? BUT if it does, i will grab that chance and buy and invest in me some bitcoins. Because after a big dive down like that, the probability of soaring high is intrinsic. That will make me very prosperous. A great turn up for the books. What a dream!
Sometimes I guess your right especially when bitcoin value declining their value rapidly. But in my view bitcoin not going so deep like what I'm thinking, maybe their price fall down up to $10,000 only.

Moreover value of bitcoin in the market was cumulative to there's no need to worry, however if it is true that this crypto are touching the $3000 I think i need to invest high amount, because it seems a good opportunity to make a high investment and to earn high amount of income.

If one day Bitcoin falls to the level of $ 3,000, I definitely do not buy Bitcoin, because a currency of $ 3,000 can fall to the level of $ 300. There is no difference between the two examples for me. That would be a very bad scenario.

If the markets want to, why not. 3000$ would be great so that one can invest again in Bitcoin and all those whiny idiots who regret not investing in Bitcoin will have an opportunity to do so yet again. However the support levels of bitcoin says otherwise. So dropping down to 3000$ would be really bad, a lot of FUDs would come in, people will start bullshitting. The biggest bubble burst in history - bitcoin. This would be the headlines by most of the media.

I doubt BTC hits $3K. People are standing around waiting to hammer it at $12.5/$10K...

Anything is possible. it could drop to $3K or can go as high as $30K in the next coming months. But I still don't get why people are really thinking that bitcoin will go so low as $3K? Do you guys really lost interest on bitcoin and shifting to other coins? As far as I'm concern, yes, we are facing high transactions fee and slow confirmations that is has become the major drawback of bitcoin.

But, I don't think that investors will be stupid enough to get out of the picture because of such issue causing the market to crash to $3K. There's a lot of investors waiting in line to buy cheap bitcoins. Maybe they are just waiting for the perfect time to enter once more regardless of the issue that I have mentioned.

Theoretically yes, but it will only prove the nay sayers that bitcoin is a bubble if it did go down at 3000 usd, since it had entered 2018 at around 12-13k usd, depending on the exchnage you are using. If so, and bitcoin went down that far, people will stay away from cryptocurrencies, since their basis of entering  crypto currencies is bitcoin, and i think history will repeat itself again, bitcoin will remain quiet for a long time then have a bullrun, that so-called experts will say again that it is a bubble, but as far as what is going on, bitcoin's tranasactions had become faster in some platforms and  we can see the fees being lowered, if thing goes well, another bull run is just around the corner.

I guess everything is possible with BTC, the best like the worst. However, dropping to 3.000 USD can be a good thing for investors  Wink
Yes i agree! Everything is possible to happen with bitcoin, it maybe good or bad, but then in every scenario there is always a wise move too, if it drops to $3,000 then happy the investors that are wanting to buy more, and if continues to go up also, well happy are all bitcoiners because their money continue to grow and of course i will be happy too😃

Happened once couple months ago... so possibly could.

But the way it is growing currently, it may never go down.

That's the crypto market place anyway, you really can't predict too much into the future.
When it happened, bitcoin itself was at around 4000-5000$ but now that it's at around 13000 I highly doubt it.. I still believe 10000$ is a benchmark for a lot of investors.. Although in the end of the day It's bitcoin an unpredictable cryptocurrency.

I think you forgot to add a zero in the title  Tongue

This is a big uncertainty about bitcoin.
We don't know when this will gonna happen.
The value is now at $13097.

Now the market is interesting. It's not very clear in which direction the price will go. It can be a big increase as well as a big drop. The price may drop below 10k $. Below 8k $ I don't think so.

Until the problems with scaling and transactions is resolved the price of bitcoin is based primarily on its value as a speculation object.  Speculators are fickle people at the mercy of the whales. Also you have the constant naging from the BCH-crew affecting things. We likely will not go all the way down to 3000 $ but I wont exclude it completely, that we can see a correction below 10.000 and stay there for a while is on the other hand quite possible. Anyone who sat through the Bear market from 2013 onwards knows this.

well, of course you can. bitcoin prices can go down to such a price. we'll never know what's waiting for bitcoin out there. could have been, because of the crisis or something else, made the bitcoin price fall.
I don't think that at this stage it is gonna be so down or down to even 3000$ I think the much it can down is up to 10,000and thus will also be for very short period of time  I think bitcoin is a very strong digital currency and father of all so I don't think any of the currency would be able to replace it to be mainstream.

It can, yet no one can know for certain. However, if BTC drops below 10k the bear market will be confirmed. From there on out, a full 80% bleedout like the 2013/2014 crash is pretty much possible.
Do not think BTC will necessarily go up again: it did so the past two years only because there was still not enough competition around. Those time are definitely over, and this old horse and buggy will likely be killed in the onslaught that is to come.
I'm more and more reading reviews about Bitcoin's dissatisfaction and the girl he represents. A lot of complaints about the price and duration of the transaction, And this too can greatly affect the future of Bitcoin.
