Upon the ongoing uptrend bitcoin doesn't reach $3500 by the falling year. Till 2020 there won't be price fall takin it to such a low value. Large variations might happen in 2018 if issues arise from the develop team who serve as the back bone to the entire decentralized platform.

For the new record this month of November, the bitcoin price reached $9,700 which indicates that the value keeps on increasing in the future. The only thing that is frightening if there will be a crash going on this coming year of 2018, which definitely some of us are waiting for to buy more bitcoins and hold it for the meantime and sell it for their target of time.

I guess you already know the answer for that because as for now the value of bitcoin is now $8,600 and people keep on expecting that it will reach $10,000 by the end of this year. And like what other said, probably this Christmas vacation many companies will invest. And bitcoins acceptance is still going on in other countries.
Maybe OP should change topic name to can bitcoin hit 10k this year.
High probability to be this maybe in next week or two i didn't expect that we will hit so fast 9000, but this is sign that hitting 10000 will be piece of cake.

The expectation is quite high but we cannot deny the fact that it might happen since we already know its capabilities as long as the time pass by and also we cannot deny the fact that sometimes the value of bitcoin really decrease which is a part of it.
The question now isn't "Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?" but instead "Can bitcoin go back to 3500$ in 2018?" as btc price is now far above 3500$, with a new ATH around 9000$.
I'm not sure btc could go back that low, unless a very bad nexs occurs in 2018.

I believe that just in a month after the so feared date of 1st August, we will see an upward trend on one of the bitcoin blockchain's price and then the price will continue to go up and will definitely cross the $3500 mark.
Ya man i too believed that not just in month .in a week after its reach and go upwards trend on bitcoin blockchains and price will go upwards surely and its defiantly cross the $3500 and above .Before August 10 this will happen so.

It's out of now, and i think by looking at the current price movements and from the previous time, in 2018 it will not be far from the $3500 price, even i think it will far exceed $3500 in 2018 i guess. Bitcoins adoption is keeping more growing these days maybe some of the people are been brought nor been lured by seeing the current price of btc for these days, and there will be a sure good happenings will be happen on 2018 since I think we can see more price growth for it and more company adoption. And maybe we can see bitcoins will be adopted well on offline business and this one could surely bring bitcoins get his highest price on 2018.

Bitcoin had already exceeded that amount and it is $4000+ something. Anyway, bitcoin is unexpected and we don't know whether it will grow or fall. 7000 seems like a very high price, but it was not long ago that 1000 seemed like a very high price that we will never reach again and now just look at it bitcoin seems that is never going to go bellow that price ever again which show to us that circumstances on bitcoin change very fast.Getting into the $10K level can be happening early next year as the current value can be playing around $4,000 to $4,500 while there is that coming November hard fork. Any development that can make people feel negative about Bitcoin can affect the whole market and the value of Bitcoin. In 2018, all of these things can be gone for good so it is possible that 2018 can be that big banner year for Bitcoin so let's hoard Bitcoin this year.
