Yes and comparatively bitcoin is too small, banks are too huge and the strongest financial institutions we have and it won't be easy at all for bitcoins to replace them in future.

Bitcoin could only compete with the banks if the banks got lazy, collapsed in a considerably more dramatic manner than what happened in 2008, and the people around the world got fed up with the current Financial system and >35% of the world switched to some alternate form of payment, most likely Bitcoin. That scenario relies on too many variables, and thus it is incredibly unlikely to happen.

yes i am agree with you, bitcoin will never make banks disappear, but banks and bitcoin will work together and it will be good for both of them, if banks accept bitcoin then people will start using banks for bitcoin transaction and banks will get really good profit from these transaction.

I think they can make the newer type banks disappear like those financial places that recently have popped up offering high interest rates.
Only the really old banks will survive the onslaught of the era of bitcoin. Grin

Agree with that. When all fiat money are all gone (which is very impossible) and we only have bitcoins, then for sure, bank will be gone. Unless bank will extend a bitcoin wallet service with other cool features than the rest, then it will still exist.

i don't think so. first, bitcoin is not known worldwide. second, bitcoin is not fully accepted by the government. therefore, it is impossible to replace or make the banks disappear. and lastly, there is no much security for bitcoin especially it can be hacked anytime. i think rather than bitcoin will make banks disappear, bitcoin can be affiliated with banks in the near future.

yes, I agree with you. bitcoin have much difference with the BANK. BANK is a commodity that is visible, while bitcoin is not visible. the difference is clear and can not be equated.

Bitcoin has an potential to replace all payment methods in future, as it still very new to many people and once people gets aware about it I am sure they will start using it at least for online shopping and online transfers.

Even bitcoin can do that, I doubt that bitcoin is going to make banks to be gone because still bitcoin is a young currency at all.

And it is going to be considered by the government before they are going to see that bitcoin is really worth to make banks disappear.

Banks are the one controls the flow of the money in a government so they are playing an important role.

That's not entirely true though. There are actually quite a lot of banks now that are developing platforms to integrate bitcoins into their system. I agree that there are banks that are skeptical in backdoor operations but in their defense, not all banks are like that. There are banks that are more mass-oriented.

Like here in our country there is a wallet/coin exchange here that accepted bills payment through cash remittances. They also partnered with almost all banks here. When you buy bitcoin you could deposit it on different banks and it takes only a minute to receive it. It is so easy here to buy bitcoins thus it can help to promote it more.

The bank is not integrated with bitcoin for directly is always through the 3rd parties for that, because I never seeing any bank is said they're is integrated with bitcoin for directly but indirectly with supporting from the 3rd parties between bank and bitcoin.

Banks will not disappear because of Bitcoin , What i think is maybe in the future banks will integrate Bitcoin to their system if most people will use Bitcoin instead of Bank. They will find a way to attracts customers just like how Bitcoin attracts us. In my Bitcoin wallet i can cash-out my Bitcoin going to my bank. It is easier for me to exchange Bitcoin to cash or cash to Bitcoin.

it is slim for now though it is definitely going to increase in my opinion and i hope that it will change dollar soon
