I don't think that banks are going to perish, still the government is the one to decide if they are going to let bitcoin conquer against bank and going to make the banks disappear. Banks really do play an important role to a country and I don't think they are going to be affected that easily, it's either bitcoin is going to be prohibited or going to be adopted.

it will happen soon, believe me it is going to happen in like a decade or so, people are not into banks already and i hope less and less people will use it

I don't think banks are going anywhere, it will survive for sure and may be in future they will too start accepting bitcoins and both of them will coexist in future.

I doubt that will happen anytime soon, By the current condition of the world that might happen in the future but not in the current year, even minor chances of taking some of the banks roles will be enough.

It will not gonna happen I think, banks are too stable which are govern by the state and bitcoin is just new in terms of currency, in the side of legality bitcoin cannot beat banks so it is so hard, I think the two should exceed and will improve together.

Hmm i think bitcoin can't make banks disappear why because banks are alive with digital currency more investors are using banks to hold their billion money. Investors also use banks a investment method because it will grow your money depends on your deposit i think 5% every year because here in my country you can earn by depositing on your bank.

i just had a thought. fractal reserve is one of the reasons banks make a shitload of money. since they can loan out more money then they have in their possession.
but with bitcoin this is not possible. not even a bank will be able to give you more money then they have. banks will fight that and they will find a way.

I think bitcoin will not threaten the bank and the government. Bitcoin my opinion only a crypto and I think more appropriate only be used for investment. While the bank is more than saving money, we could borrow and investment as well. Bank urgently needed a stable government to their economies. So the bank is very strong and will not disappear with bitcoin.

I don't think bitcoin scares banks, really.
It however pressures them into the race of whether to invest/integrate bitcoin or not. Right now, banks are only researching and preparing systems that can successfully integrate bitcoin into banks and it's only a matter of time before one bank actually starts accepting bitcoin.

Profitable? Until bitcoin becomes stable enough for those banks to think that it's not going to crash on them, banks will probably not adopt bitcoin at all. Bitcoin's limited supply shouldn't be too big of a problem for quite some time, as there will nearly always be enough bitcoin to go around, and if not, the price will simply rise in response.

Bank and bitcoin have differences since banks are just storage and not a currency itself, Therefore even bitcoin would be developed in the future it wouldnt harm or give any threats to banks since bitcoin is a digital currency after all if those holders want to store their huge amount of bitcoin maybe someone would create a bitcoin bank. storing all thier physical coins. Just my opinion.
