IMO it can make banks disappear but it will take a long time before it can happen certainly, we just need to wait for it see what happens and if that will happen overall... The banks are even starting to somehow like the block system though.

I think people will need to use the banks even if Bitcoin conquer the world, but banks will be in this case a lot less used than nowadays.

to be honest i can not agree with your opinion, yes most people are dependant on banks, but they will change their opinion when they will see the pros of bitcoins

i think it will sooner or later replace banks, as bitcoin allows you to be your own bank, without any other services

bitcoin have many problem in many country, i don't think government will let bitcoin replace banks even though in the future bitcoin become a popular currency.

That is true. Bitcoin is pure honesty and transparent!While banks only serve themselves and look for every opportunity to cheat and scam you.
The only thing what satisfies me is that almost each monetary system we had failed and crashed at a certain point.With the actual one it wo't be different and it seems we are close to see this happen.
This can be the change for Bitcoin!

I think they would coexist with each other, Banks is important and the cornerstone of the current financial system, Bitcoin is good as well but it is a part of the online field mainly.

I agree the banks got a big monopoly going on. There is no party or currency that can compete with them.. yet.
Maybe in 10 years bitcoin will be big enough to do so.

No, its not possible, there would be a certain percentage of population that would prefer to use banks even if the bitcoin gets on the mainstream, its really hard to visualize the world without the traditional banking system.

I do not see this happen at all but we will see if this happen if course but I think its just too much for the bitcoin itself.

I would not actually agree to the allusion that bitcoin will make banks disappear. What I foresee is that banks will tend to adopt the use of bitcoin and even encourage customers to bank in accounts with bitcoin wallets. Just like we have bitcoin wallets with different providers, banks will also introduce bitcoin wallets where customers can deposit their bitcoins.

I don't think banks will ever be in a place where they can no longer operate due to bitcoin. The key thing we will see will be the adaption and adoption by the banks to incorporate the virtual currency world into their business.

We can see this already with the interest in how to use the blockchain and create their own private blockchains, outside of this they still have their fingers in many pies so I doubt we will ever be bankless.

Banks system has been made to profit ,always profit thats why we pay 33% of fees when we ask a loan ,this is enougt to cover those loans defaulteds.Bitcoin is no way near to be a problem to banks ,the banks wanna the technology of blockchain to reduce the fees around them,but nothing else,maybe one day they can support bitcoin giving loans and interest the same way they work with fiat.
