If we are talking about investing now in bitcoin, I think it can't make someone richest in the world, because it is too expensive now to buy BTC for ~47k dollars, but if someone invested a lot of money in bitcoin like in 2009-2011 period, then it will be the richest in the world.

It could only happen if someone who is already super rich would convert their money or everything into Bitcoin and the price after they done it would go up.
But those rich person wouldn't just rely on it they would only invest partial of their whole asset into crypto they would rather have business that is way more secure on making profit than risking it all in investing in crypto.
This idea is definitely a very possible because as we all know bitcoin is one of the most big deal thing today. Because of its value and all time high records, most of the people are amazed and want to invest to it right now. For me, it is not too late to invest in bitcoin but you need to have a good, better and enough understanding in order for you to have a meaningful, and profitable journey in bitcoin. In my honest opinion, it could make someone the richest in the world but you would have a lot of money too in fiat to invest then because how will you buy bitcoin without fiat money. Just like Elon Musk, he bought bitcoin in a huge amount of money wherein no one with a mediocre status could have that amount to spend just to buy bitcoin because it is a gamble and an investment.

In my opinion, at least in the near future, this is not very likely.
Even if Bitcoin reaches $ 100,000 next year, as some estimates suggest, this is still not very likely.
The largest wallet at the moment has 168,791 BTC.
