in order to reach $8000 there should be massive number of new investors that start buying bitcoin which is why i say it is not going to happen "this year", because as far as i am aware there is nothing going on that can cause this much buy pressure that can push the price that high.

why you would be surprised about it? i can safely say that bitcoin price might reach even bigger heights this year, i think that we will see a new all time high by the very end of 2016

yes i am also agree with i think that the price of bitcoin will easily cross the 1200$ level at the end of this year. you can see that people are not interested to sell their bitcoin and holding it for the price increase and that is the reason that the price price of bitcoin is so stable revolving around 600+.

i do not think that bitcoin will be rise up its price to $1200 at the end of this year , i think the price of bitcoin will be rise to $900 $1000 easily .

of course bitcoin can grow to really huge heights this year because previously the halving happened so the price might be pumped]

in my opinion bitcoin can rise to a new all time high not only 800 dollars because it is really powerful right now and people are interested in it

It may be true that could affect but there are other factors that affect the price of bitcoin. As the increase in people using bitcoin, and bitcoin adoption increases, it will make bitcoin price increases.

I think the term "year of Bitcoin" is very personal to every person. For me this is indeed the year of Bitcoin as I made a more than decent profit when I sold around $750 last month. For the other this might be a bad year as they missed great buying opportunities.

But in general, we can consider every year is bitcoin's year. We can't even make some nice profits if we don't look back on some major happenings back then prior to our entering in bitcoin world.

Also thinking $800 as the price target this year is really realistic to desire.

I doubt that it will be the highest numbers, the halving of bitcoin will surely impact the price significantly and make it grow to a new all time high exceeding 1200 dollars per bitcoin

if the price will not be dumped it will remain in the huge heights and it will make me some decent money out of the bitcoins i already have

never underestimate bitcoin similar was back in 2013 and then in November price goes sky high i expect the same but hot with that big jump like last time

huge difference compared to how thing were in 2013 is that we don't have another gox exchange artificially pumping the price with money that doesn't exist.

Well it did move a lot prior to July, so somehow I still think that there'll be a huge movement this year waiting to happen. The question now is what direction.

They say history repeats itself, I suppose we'll see it in the last quarter of the year.

we are all waiting for the movement to be favored with us and hopefully this coming month it will show something good
