Long time bitcoiner here.... Expect 2xx soon, scalability issue is not resolved yet and it seems it won't be resolved soon, but it's crucial for network/price to rise.
It´s possible it´s now at around $400. It´s peak was $600 it will hard to surpass that but it is certainly possible.
We will just have to wait it out it´s only a matter of time.

if before halving the price could touch $600 I am sure that this year we could touch $800. but if not, I think we will be hard to touch $800 this year.

You never know what will happen. But I dont think it is possible to reach that high value this year. And that wont be good.

You got the idea here mate, and most of bitcoin is use in black market, few are only using it as a payment in buy sell things. Mmedia also avoids exploiting bitcoin that's why it never get popularize

No i guess its only rise up to $600 to $750 this year or the next year.
i doubt that it will be the highest numbers, the halving of bitcoin will surely impact the price significantly and make it grow to a new all time high exceeding 1200 dollars per bitcoinif the price will not be dumped it will remain in the huge heights and it will make me some decent money out of the bitcoins i already have
As my speculation and according to other comment the price will play in around 600-700 or more before reaching 1k value..

There would be a price increase this coming months, and probably the $800 price is still reachable at the year end..It will all depends upon the effect of the halving on the price, if the price drops again to its price right now after the halving, then there is a little chance that we can achieve that price..
But you never know what will happen there is also a chance that it can be going down later.
The price will be around 800 dollar this year, it will happen for sure, I have no doubts about the fact this will happen this year.
The halving will make this come true and it will maybe even go to a higher amount because of the halving, but that is still a bit unpredictable of course.

I think that we may reach the goal of more than 600,mining right now will took a lot of money before you can mine and even after the halving the difficulty will be more,so in order to compensate the miners the price should be 600+.
