can they hack into our wallet. There are many professional hackers out there. What are the chances? Also what is the safest way to safeguard ourself?
That's the greatness about bitcoin, all the money that you have stored in your wallet is really safe that there are no people who can see hack on your wallet. But nowadays there are many great hackers that can hack in anyone's bank accounts, so maybe they can hack into our wallet.

I have several times received an email containing Authorize Log In Attempt on my blockchain wallet whereas I did not do that, but I am lucky my blockchain wallet is still safe. I'm curious, how hackers can do this, does hacker already knowing my wallet ID and password on that wallet?
What should I do now?

Let me guess, are you a long-term investor? If that's true, surely you need to know that nothing online things will be immune to hackers. Although it is very difficult to hack the private key of bitcoin, but it's possible that the hackers are learning it right now. So strengthen passwords and computer security from viruses. Because that could be one way for hackers to know. You can also make wallet more than 1, and you can move your btc from one wallet to other sometime, though this way will reduce your btc number because there is a moving fee. But it have a good work for secure the btc.

No way they can. Bitcoin uses a sha256 bit encyption which would is 2256 possible formulas. Basically, it would take forever Smiley

Encryption has nothing to do with private keys as once they know it, they will just sweep the hell out of it and you will just wonder where did those formulas go which you were trusting upon? Just like paper money Bitcoins can be stolen too because though it is not easy to hack private keys but still there are theft incidents taking place in Bitcoin world too.

Yup, bitcoin wallet can be hacked by the hackers if they will know your password or the private key (if you are using a bitcoin wallet that has a private key) and it can be bypassed by the hackers and they will get your bitcoin and you will become a loser. So it is important to know the things that you need to know in securing your account like having a 2fa and also back ups so you don't need to worry about hack attacks.

maybe a hacker with good skill that could hacked bitcoin wallet because the hacker need to cracked the private key or else. but as long as we can safe our wallet with secure, then the chance from being hacked is small. make sure that only us which know about the wallet and only us that can use the wallet to make transaction.

I agree. Hackers today are present everywhere. And they are really good because they can hack even the government sites or systems. With that, Bitcoin wallet is one of the targets now of the hackers because of the money that they can get from it. My suggestion is that, if you are using Bitcoin as an extra income, you sell them and cash it out once you received them. Then you can just put it in a reputable bank for savings or mutual fund if you want it to be an investment. However, if you are using Bitcoin as in investment, then I suggest to strengthen your account password and adding a verification code that whenever you log in to that account, a verification code should be sent in to your email.

Yes, it is conceivable that your bitcoin wallet will be hacked by programmers particularly those online wallets since you won't be holding any private keys for your wallet. To maintain a strategic distance from the hacking better store your Bitcoin in disconnected wallets and abstain from phishing locales twofold check the site or application you will use before entering your Bitcoin wallet

Yes they can. There are many professional hackers there. They can dig their way in to your wallet. Even if it seems so impossible, they can find ways. Some hackers are smart enough to find vulnerabilities of the most secure security, so those wallets can be targeted if they seem interesting and even it take time if their determination is strong enough, they can get through it.

If you are that afraid that some very clever hackers might hack your wallet, then go for a cold wallet. That is yours and yours alone. I have not heard of Bitcoin hacking though. ETH hacking, there were several instances already. I hope no more hacking in the future. It always involves millions of dollars wasted.
Bitcoin wallet can't attack or hacked, just by user loss their private and hacker rob it from keylog virus or their cookie ... Then, hacker will import this private key and transfer all Bitcoin from this wallet to them wallet make user loss all Bitcoin.

Yes it can be 100% chance that our wallets can be hacked. If an hacker makes an effort to hacked it it will be hacked. To avoid that to happen, make sure that youbhave your security updated everyweek of even everyday if you can. Always change your passwords to avoid familiarity of it and always take care of your account. Don't say it to anybody unless yourself. Or cashed out all your money to avoid that permanently. No money in the wallet no hackers be attracted.

exactly!!!! The best way to protect wallet is secure account by telephone, gmail or changing regularly password
That could help but even better is to have your wallets in cold storage in a hard drive that is encrypted with a password that you are the only one that knows and that you have never written down anywhere, that would be a hard thing to crack, but if that is not your style you could instead create a paper wallet and secure your coins that way.

Possible but imposible they will do that because I think hackers also uses bitcoin/cryptocurrency. As we all know there is a bunch of investing sites they've made and that's the method they use to earn bitcoin. We all know they uses bad method to earn bitcoin but hacking your private wallet is imposible unless you are holding your private key.. As the other post here the explanation.
Yes we must continue to keep the private key we have. That's the safest way. Never store private keys in unsafe places like hosting and more. Do as directed by writing it on paper and keep it well. Because it's the only one way to access the wallet we have.
Its our responsibility to keep it in a secure manner as much possible, because when everything takes place through internet each and everything gets interlinked. This gives a maximum possiblity for hacking, but the same can be overcome if we are careful in handling the security features as well segregating the hacking people trying to get in contact with us.

It's already happened, there is ample evidence that many wallets have been hacked. Certainly with higher bitcoin prices, it makes hackers come to the wallet. We recommend using bitcoin wallet sites that have proven reliable and have a better security than others. And one thing, don't using anymore a wallet that's been hacked, it's relatively hacked for sure.
If you using Desktop Bitcoin Wallet or other type can keep your private key, not have any hacker can attack your wallet and hacked your funds. Just when you give hacker some opportunity know your private, in this time they will hack your funds and rob all. Smiley
