Bitcoin can not be surviving wothout blockchain and its true because the bitcoin is hold in blockchain technology. No blockchain and no bitcoin.
But now in the opposite, blockchain can survive without bitcoin because its adopted not only in bitcoin but the other coin too. It will be big impact where people will decrease the believe of this technology but time will answer everything that blockchain can get up without bitcoin.

Of course, blockchain is a technology that was of course pioneered by Bitcoin and 'Satoshi Nakomoto' but if for any reason BTC was to become no more, the underlying tech is still just as sound for other blockchain projects. The genie has been let out of the bottle and will not go back in

Actually, blockchain isn't get alive only just because of having bitcoin. But we can't deny also that bitcoins popularity makes blockchain technology getting known worldwide and it is a helping tool that people will be using digital currencies today and coming days.

With the way that lot of people and companies have started adopting the Blockchain technology, I am very confident that it will be able to survive without the currency. Even banks who are who are so against Bitcoin have adopted the Blockchain technology.

Both bitcoin and blockchain are in a mutualistuc relationship. One needs the other for survival. It is not new to us to know thst blockchain played a huge part to bitcoin's success by providing bitcoin with a lot of improvements and updates on its system amd how the cryptocurrency works. And even though blockchain could do this to other coin, the said technology depends right now in bitcoin for survival and so does bitcoin.

Truly speaking the blockchain will survive without bitcoin although bitcoin plays important role in the blockchain but that doesn't mean the survive of blockchain depends on bitcoin. Have you ever think that in time to come there will be altcoin which will be like bitcoin it just a matter of time.

originally, the blockchain is a new type of database that can be used and maintained without a central administrator. the blockchain is administered through a consensus protocol. therefore, when we mention blockchain, we need to know the protocol ruling the said blockchain. the properties of the original bitcoin blockchain can be altered, often deteriorated, by any seemingly deviation from the original bitcoin protocol. the absence of bitcoin as bearer assets removes the option to use bitcoin transactions as a trustless settlement mechanism
