Yes that is possible, but i think that if bitcoin will not survive it will have a huge impact on all other crypto currencies and on blockchain, because bitcoin has too much contribution in making blockchain popular and if bitcoin will not survive it will really effect the image of blockchain too much.
There is nothing common with bitcoin and blockchain, satoshi showed how blockchain can be used to sort many issues without a central trust with the help of a blockchain and so blockchain can we used in a wider area than just bitcoin, blockchain will be used world wide to validate things and companies around the world with use that technology even if they do not use bitcoin.

This is for sure very possible. However, I would say it is as a result of Bitcoin's success that Blockchain got more attention with regards to crypto. Now a lot of people have realized that different projects can be conceived using blockchain technology and it doesn't have to be cryptocurrency related. Blockchain is the channel through which bitcoin transactions take place, it also supports other coin transactions and can therefore be independent of bitcoins.Yes, it will survive as bitcoin is just one project, whereas thousands are using it.
All the current blockchain creations and ideas have been brought so far by many great developers as the kind of blockchain that has been developed so bitcoin will disappear in the future will continue to evolve and new types of bQlockchain regarding future technologies. 
The fall of Bitcoin would cause a lot of fear among investors and might lead to crash of other cryptocurrencies. However I think that the market would recover pretty fast because people seem to understand why they need cryptocurrencies. We don't want to become dependent from banks. We want to manage our own money. It would require some time but yes, Blockchain could survive and develop something better by looking at the history of Bitcoin. We learn on our mistakes.
The blockchain is becoming very important for its potential to create a decentralized and absolutely unalterable accounting register that can ensure the regularity of transactions, procedures and contracts. Its survival is not linked to the btc. Even if a government banned the btc no government will ever ban the blockchain.
for now maybe blockchain technology can be succesfull without btcoin, because some countries already use the system from blockchain for various things. digital payment system etc. but if a few years ago, without bitcoin blockchain can't be succesfull.

Of course the Blockchain can survive without BTC. It is an infrastructure for the decentralized archiving of data and transactions that ensures their unalterability. It is a technology that will have great applications even without the BTC.
Blockchain cannot survive without bitcoin, because altcoins uses blockchain through bitcoin, to do transaction s.i think the effectiveness of block chain won't be there without bitcoin..
I think Bitcoin is important for Blockchain technology. I think Blockchain technology is going popular for Bitcoin. Bitcoin makes Blockchain more popular. Even then if Bitcoin fails in future the Blockchain technology will survive. Because Blockchain technology is very popular all over the world. People want to move on Blockchain technology.
