BTC has entered the second 4-year halving cycle and will rise to 1 million U.S. dollarsin the next 15 years. What do you think? Friends are welcome to discuss together. Smiley
Fair enough to expect and no exaggerating , 10 years and bitcoin had reached 60k then maybe in the next 10-15 years a million dollar value per bitcoin may possible or even higher .
though still there are bitcoin remaining to be mined that year (2036 to be specific) but at least we will be seeing that 7 digits Bitcoin price
I would say "no exaggerating" is a bit of an overstatement when we are talking about 1 million dollars. Sure in 10 years it could reach that level, it may reach that level even quicker as well, after all less than 20x left for that price, and we reach those levels not so difficultly. In march 2020 we were around 4k, and in April 2021 slightly over a year, we were at 64k, that is 16x. Right now price is 61k, if we did another 16x in a year (not saying it will, just giving an example) we would be at around 1 million anyway, 976k to be exact.

So, I agree that it is not impossible, crypto does stuff like this all the time and it could happen in 10 years, that is a long time. However we should not be expecting something like that to be common, just because something happened before doesn't mean that it will happen in the future as well.

7 years ago when I got to know bitcoin a lot of people believed the price of bitcoin couldn't get past $1000 again, but it can be passed, then people said bitcoin won't reach $10k, then it's over again, $1 million certainly can't be reached in a year or two , but I believe it can be achieved 5 years from now.
Many people have elevated the status of bitcoin to the status of a saint in their hearts and in the face of claims related to this saint, they accept and believe unconditionally, maybe even turning the pages of history year by year, tell more about the factors as well as add the criteria for the million dollar value of bitcoin. But I personally think bitcoin is an inverted triangle, a pyramid that is inverted so that the tip is stuck in the ground, the construction of a new floor at the top will be heavier with each renovation and the feasibility on the upper floors will be lower while the coefficients of risk and collapse will be higher

15 years actually is a long time and looking at the volatility for the year isn't going wrong on the speculation. $1million may be looking far to achieve but the time frame
then How long would it be ?

I think we should care first on the market cap increase year by year or during bull season and if there's data on that that will be the best to predict such price in the next 15 years. Not saying it isn't a thing and it's just few more push to get onto the 6 figure Bitcoin this year alone but a million is a huge feat unless there's some major catalyst that may happen.

Let's talk I guess the $100k before the $1M.

15 years actually is a long time and looking at the volatility for the year isn't going wrong on the speculation. $1million may be looking far to achieve but the time frame is also a longer time that waves of innovation, huge adoption news by more countries are eminent. Halving is also on the way that will further increase the volatility of bitcoin. Between the 2017 halving and the last halving in 2020, the volatility and price of bitcoin isn't the same now and that is how the halving will keep pushing price higher.

I am very much interested in seeing btc in 6 figure before we talk million. We are expecting a parabolic run for btc based on stock2flow model, but we forgot that the more expensive it gets, the more harder it will be for us to accumulate it. And I noticed that the parabolic runs took place every 4 years since the first ever 'pump' in btc, so I think it will be 8-12 years based on the speed or if we see the stock2flow in works, it will be very early.

One thing is for sure and many people knows this. It is not about "can" it is about "when" and we all know this and almost everyone agrees with this. Reality is that bitcoin may become 1 million dollars in 10 days, it could happen in 100 days, or it could happen in 1000 days, doesn't matter when it will happen because we all know that it will happen. That is why we should be focusing on what to do, if we are so sure about bitcoin becoming so high, then why not put all your money into crypto? I do, not just bitcoin but other stuff as well and I am waiting for it to make a profit. It may not make a profit right away in two minutes but I know that it will make a profit eventually.

Bitcoin is not something we can predict it's price and stick on it, therefore I'm assuming that bitcoin price can be grow or decrease more than humans prediction, actually the life circle of bitcoin is moving directly depending on the year and also the level of people who in enroll in it, maybe before the specific time we assume or expect according to op yearly assumptions of time frame, bitcoin might be greater than (1 Million US Dollars) or come in contrary to it. So it depends and it doesn't rely on anyone's hands.

next 15 years is far to achieve that 1 million dollar value finally. we've seen the increase from 20k in 2017 to 66k in 2021 4 years after and that is more than x3 , meaning in the following 4 years the price may increase to 200k and then 600k then a million in 10 years or less is achievable .
but of course , profit comes to those who waits  lol.
People will wait and people who do not want to miss out, will enter and start waiting along with those who are already waiting. This is the reason, I am seeing that getting into one million dollars is highly possible. It means that when more number of people start believing into higher value of bitcoins then it will happen for sure as things will favour in that directions. As of now people expect bitcoin to be testing anything between $100k to $400k and I guess it will be highly possible and we need to be patience to experience such price levels.

Basically I am the one who believe that bitcoin will value like 1 satoshi = 1 USD. This way one bitcoin will value 100 million. So, I am always positive about getting into one million dollars value per one bitcoins.

I think the absolute limit is the worth of global economy. It's currently worth 90 trillion dollars, and the projection for 2026 is 122 trillion.

You are confusing two things here, one thing is GDP, which is the income produced, and another thing is global wealth, which was around $420T last year.

The calculations that have been made when there are predictions that Bitcoin is going to reach $1M is because they assume that the market cap is going to absorb much of that global wealth (not income, not GDP) that was previously invested in other things and is going to move into Bitcoin. It only needs 20x, which would give $20T for the bitcoin market cap out of a global total of over $420T, so it is perfectly possible.

If BTC can rise to 1 million US dollars, I am sure all of us who have BTC will be happy because we will make a huge profit and have much money from our investment. But we never know when that will happen, but we still have much time to save more BTC before the price starts to increase so when the time comes, we can sell it at a high price.

Maybe that can happen in the next 5-15 years later so I think that will be enough to save more BTC in many ways. BTC itself will become mainstream after the price start to increase and break every high price.

15 years is a very long time. The possibility is open. But it is also equally possible for Bitcoin to remain less than half a million even after that long span of time. But I am not really interested whether it is possible for Bitcoin to rise to 1 million or not, I am more interested on what could possibly bring Bitcoin to that very high price. If the whole world is already accepting Bitcoin as payment, will it be enough for Bitcoin to rise that high?

Isn't guessing the price for 15 years later a tad bit too long? There's still a LOT of stuff that could happen in those 15 years, and a lot of them would probably be a huge game-changer in the current system of what Bitcoin, or rather, what crypto is, especially for the higher-ups. Additionally, I'd reckon we've gone way past the peak of crypto by then, and the scene would gradually stabilize imo and instead of being seen as a speculative asset by then, could be seen as a currency that it was always made for. We'd be heading off to the point where volatility wouldn't be an issue for most transactions by then, hopefully.

Well at least he says Bitcoin might go to $1 million in 15 years unlike some people who are predicting it will hit $1 million sometime in the next 12 months.

Lately people are expecting something like $250,000 in December and something like $1 for Doge and $0.01 for SHIB. The markets are getting extremely crazy. Also the SP500 hit a new ATH again today after the fed meeting.

Honestly I would be cautious, way too much greed out there lately.

If the 4 year cycle nature of bitcoin persists and such cycle gets bitcoin 10x growth then this year we will get 10x growth which may get us 100k levels and in next 4 year cycle we may test 1 million levels through another 10x growth.

Bitcoin easily grows 10 times on every 4 years after the halving which means we just need another four years to get into one million dollars levels given that this year we must get another 10x growth from where finished in 2017's bullish cycle.

In my opinion, one million dollar is highly possible for bitcoin if for some reasons, we fail to have $100k this year then we may take 5 to 8 years to get one million dollars levels but it will happen for 100%, the only thing is when it may happen.

First we need to focus in 100,000$ and on what will happen from that moment on, once we reach to this achievement. As it's a remarkable event for the history of bitcoin, many changes must happen in crypto universe scenario and in the way regulators will treat the digital currency. Potentially, bitcoin price can skyrocket even faster and governments in general may become more friendly to it, seeing the growment in numbers.

However, so far 1 million dollars seem daydream, because we haven't reached even 10% of that goal yet.

No it has peaked & with further government regulations coming it will probably start its descent to 3 digits. Governments aren’t going to allow bitcoin to go any further.
Surprisingly, I would agree more with the first.  The fact that bitcoin's value is infinite, without any constraints on the value is based on factors from bitcoin's origin and technique.  Although, bitcoin is the only pressure from the government to change the game.  We have El Salvador, next could be Paraquay or Latin American countries like Brazil.  That means bitcoin has always had a dynamic growth that has a depth in value including supply that it will take 100 years when the last bitcoin is mined.  Of course, the government will have the CBDC under the aggregate of these to limit the risk.  or I personally don't think the Fed backing or other exception is necessary, but the value optimism will be translated by larger and larger wicks on accumulation.
