Agree, but till now, the Doge coin is mainly used in crypto-based casino's, in real life, nobody didn't accept the Doge as payment and once after Elon mask tweet this coin generating a huge amount of volume. It might be useful for payment option in the coming days for sure.

It's a question that many people are curious about really. Thanks to Elon Musk, it reached an ATH which was $ 0.4377. Now things are not going nice for Dogecoin as nearly all of the cryptos are having a bad period. But I don't think that Elon Musk will end his support for Dogecoin soon. Hence, it's likely to see the price reaching $1 in the future.

Well, crypto market now is very red because correction is happening on the market, dogecoin now only around $0.2
It is not impossible to hit $1, but not so soon, it may happen in the next crypto bull run.

Sad to see that after reaching ATH of almost half a dollar , (43 cents to be specific) now the value drops very bad to 20 cents again That is 53% fall just in couple of days.

Lucky those who got the selling that day and surely happily waiting for 10 cents value to buy back again.

it is possible, if you look at the current price which has reached 0.37 $, it is just waiting for the next increase to occur in a few days the market has experienced a deep correction. I think if it is time to bounce up maybe the doge will reach a new ath.

The doge's increase only applies when the elon musk is in action, the doge cannot naturally increase yet due to market conditions. This can not be believed this year, and I agree with your statement if this year has not been able to doge touch $ 1 because you have to go through a gradual journey.

Dogecoin is a joke, they can only bark at 1$ but never reach it. Today's price is around 20% lower than it was yesterday, further dips will follow. Why people are so concerned with such obsolete crypto like Dogecoin? Aren't they bushed by Musk's pranks? He plays with them like with pellets dirtying them with shitcoin while buying himself the real crypto.

Doge has been here for long time, though, they started like a joke, it is used by many crypto users.
And it evolved into a more useful alt especially in transfer purposes or in gambling.
However, this coin is getting expensive these days. The withdrawal fees are higher now than other popular alts like LTC, EOS or XRP.
So in some way, it is not practical anymore for doge to be used for transfer purposes.
Also, we don't have any idea how long will Elon Musk support this coin.
Are doge developers doing something innovative to this coin?
