Sustaining the needs of family? I bet no one can. Although, I am not sure where you are from, but one thing I can say is that you can only get something tangible from it in the short term even if you are doing majorly all the bounties, and personally, it is just a way I see one can invest in some valuable project for the longer term if you do not want go the cash investment way and except for that long term, I see no how anyone can easily do a bounty and expect to get monthly income to run the family needs.

Its not impossible but its risky at the same time. Risk in terms of getting scammed after long period of work and efforts. big no, bounty campaigns has limited days of earning, it is not stable too, unless you are always accepted in one campaign after another, and not to mention, bounty campaigns has no exact date of when are they gonna pay you for your service. so undoubtedly, campaigns are not to be relied on especially the sustenance of your family's future and welfare.

Doing bounty campaigns is just like a (lower level) freelancing. This means that some "projects" pay better, some worse, some not at all. This means that sometimes you get work to do, sometimes not.
All in all it's a pretty risky business if you want to rely only on it for survival. And more and more try to do this every new day.
