I think that will happen because the condition of the bitcoin price which has now started to experience price increases will have an effect on the price movements of other cryptocurrency such as ethereum will definitely reach the target you mentioned easily.

Possible, since the bitcoin already above $5,000 and above 50MA on daily time frame. As long as Bitcoin will still hold it's support, it's so easy for ethereum to reach above $200, it's plus fundamental on ethereum since the update. Check out the chart, for me, once the resistance (around $180) broke, it's so easily to reach $200.
ETH is already going to this goal and at the moment it is already 170$, I am sure that soon ETH will break the mark of 200$ and maybe this year we can still see the price of ETH 300$, if of course the manipulators will want it.
$200 is a small target for ETH. I think this will be hit until the end of May.

cause remember, once going POS, there is a theory that without miners, the Ethereum blockchanin can exist without a ETH value at all

Maybe because its more attractive to the crypto users and for the newbie. I guess its also improve their security that may include their package of upgrading their system. But when bitcoin get rise and totally recover etherium will get follow because as I know more or less altcoin were underlying into bitcoin and etherium was included.
What can I say. Everything is possible. It all depends on the market. If Bitcoin goes to the top then everything grows up. Ether always remains a promising cryptocurrency and its growth will continue. $ 200? Well, I think if we return to the price of $ 300 by August, it will not be bad.

Its really funny price for eth to reach $200 i think so far because its price will go more than $200 no doubt about that.

For me, i think its possible to reach that price, we know how good ETH is in the market, concerning about the upgrades, maybe and i am sure it would hit that amount.
There are huge possible chances that the price of ETH will cross the 200$ now slowly the market starts recovering, so it will take some time to recover the price because the price of Bitcoin should be stable at the current value so that the price of ETH will surely cross more than 200$.

it is not impossible that eth will be able to grow more than 200 $
but however bitcoin is the peak altcoin that is very binding on the market and so influences every growth of the altcoin below it.
so I think if bitcoin grows continuously then eth can follow it
It can with the help of Bitcoin and because of the controversy about USDT. $200 is possible, but altcoins are losing compare to BTC. I don't think the upgrade has any effect on the price of ETH.

I think it can
current eth prices are 160 $ and it is not impossible to break up to 200 $ for the next few weeks depending on the market pattern.
but in my opinion this can be counted on in trading lively or doing daily trading. yes because I trade on local exchanges with fiat currencies.
$ 200 is only the lowest target of ethereum and that is very likely to be achieved by 2019, just looking at market conditions and buying now to get a lot of profit
I always hold ethereum at high regard and believe that it will increase over time. Forget the time when its price falls and go up, think about its team, technology and its goals. It is obvious even for ethereum to fall in price as the market is facing pain with all coins on the downward trend in price. But it does not define the coin. I think the coin will hit $ 1000 somewhere until the end of the year of 2019.

It will easily reach that price, I'm very optimistic with that. The right formula for the price to rise is having a good market (which we are at now) and have some major improvement which will come soon.
