Making short term predictions on cryptomarket is really worthless, because the market is still small and highly manipulated.
If you look long term on ethereum, by the end of 2018 the price can be over 1500$ if not higher.
As long as majority of ICO's use ethereum blockchain to launch their coins, ethereum will remain growing i think.
ETH is a platform not some altcoin, its a massive ecosystem and majority of the ICO rely on it..so it will rise in value in future but don't expect quick jumps, check its past price level..also once Casper date is finalized every one will rush to buy and HOLD ETH. (Casper means ETH won't be able to mine only stake, meaning those who keep in wallets will get the royalty)

It is actually difficult to know where ETH will be this month or next month, on the long run we might have an upward movement, but for the short term it could be more than 700, it can also be less than 300, its difficult to predict this.

Ethereum is in the second place after Bitcoin in the crypto world. I mean, if it wasn't Bitcoin, it would probably be Ethereum instead. If we think logically, so if Bitcoin's price is around 8k $, Ethereum's price should be 4k $. According to my opinion, 500$ is very small for ETH. We saw a price higher than 1k$ in the past few months, and we can see it again, if the market situation can be like the old one.

I would be the happiest person if this happens but it depends on a number of factors many of which are not in pour control. For instance, there is news of Soros entering the crypto market but no one knows, which coins he will be picking. If ETH is a major part of his investment, the prices will start skyrocketing.
However, the ETH investors need not worry at all as this coins will always do good in long run. Even in last 3 months when all coins including bitcoins was bleeding red, it did comparatively well .
This is not possible I think It can surpass the amount of 700 or may be it will reach its all time high of 1400+ usd especially of its uses on many ICOs this price is very achievable now that the bulls are back on the market.

Those are not ETH competitors, they are only trying to "imitate" what ETH has. ETH will be always number 1 for altcoin and number 2 in cryptocurrency under bitcoin.Your title also misleading people, ETH did reached even more than $1200 last year.

Because the market seems to be very bullish right now that is why the possibility of that would be higher,as we speak bitcoin's value is trying to break the resistances at $8k ,if these resistances are broke surely most of the altcoins are going to skyrocket including ethereum itself and most of the coins in the market. anyone beleive that eth will reach 700 in next 30 days . i think last april it will reach 600 and next month it will reach 700
I hope but i think it will not reach it until the half of the year market price keep changing but still fixing to a price 500$ this month. On my opinion the most possible price ETH can reach next month is 600 then next year 1.5k$ to break the record of 1000$ last january.
Need to wait for good signals of the market. ETH will rise again, if up to $ 700 is still too cheap if the market rebound as December last year. But to determine the exact time is too difficult. I also hope ETH will reach new ATH by the end of 2018.

I believe in this statement, as now it seems that market changed the trand and everything is going up.
That is why it is even possble that it will reach $1000 in 30days (remember the end of December 2017).

Ofcourse ETH can reach that price maybe more than that because we all know how popular and strong ETH is so dont doubt eth and continue to invest on it. 
In the crypt, everything is possible about coins. Although I think that 700 dollars for the Ethereum this year we can not see ..
