Unfortunately too many people think it is going higher… I’m starting to become a bear. This market has been going up in a straight line without any significant pullbacks which is not healthy. Bitcoin looks like it’s about to collapse, and if it does it will take the entire market with it. If it happens it gonna be a good chance for all of us to buy more.
2018 is incomparable with the year today. There's so much good things that have happened to the crypto market during this year. And as it's about to end as we're approaching Q4.
Don't leave that idea that there's still a chance for Ethereum to make that price at the end of this year. Seems to be high but it is not impossible.

People keep thinking they can rely on the past to predict the future. Trading is just full of this false belief,,, for some reason. Not even in forex or stockmarkets not even oil markets can help you predict the future and you could end up losing big money over 10 years just thinking and waiting for a cycle to repeat. ETH may do well,,, but it will not be because of a cycle.
But that's fine because we're going to see the usual recovery again, from $3900 to $3400 while for bitcoin from $52k to $46k.

The current price of the top 15 coins to reach 100% price is difficult, including Ethereum. That's my opinion. To reach the price of $10K, first it has to do with the price of Bitcoin. Then it also has to do with the amount of Ethereum demand in the market.
Next, just take a look at every other member's response, you can definitely get an answer on why ETH can and why ETH can't reach the price of $10K.

When its 1k people said 2k is impossible, its will repeat until the unexpected price reached by the unexpected pump. For me 10k its not impossible if ETH 2.0 Staking Program really attracting people to do staking while the supply of Ethereum will be limited due to many amount of ETH will be locked.
Let watch and see the speculation is much but this year not yet ended any thing could happen along the line. Possibly happened to be the best year for crypto so far since from 2018.

ETH together with those good and quality assets receives good acceptance we might see more price actions as we are headed
to the end of this year, more interest and flowing money will mean to have more increase in terms of value.
And there are now some country that has adopted bitcoin as their legal tender which signifies good effect to the market as a whole and this also affects the altcoins market.
and but to reach 10k in my opinion it will take a very long time and will not happen in the near future and all will depend on the movement of bitcoin, and even if the price of bitcoin reaches 100k Ethereum will not reach 10k.

I am sick and tired of constantly getting "will x reach y?" questions, sometimes they are stupid and sometimes it Is so easy. I have seen people hoping dogecoin goes to 20+ bucks, seen people who think shiba could be 1 dollar one day, it Is really insane to think that people could be that stupid because we all know that Is mathematically impossible, would require nearly all the money in the world to suddenly go invest into shiba and that will not happen.
So, what is the other one? Other one is these questions, "will eth be 10k?", no ethereum will suddenly stop going up, and even in 5 years or 10 years or 50 years it will never go up, it will be stuck and die slowly and in few years we will not even remember it. Why do you really believe that ETH in the long run will be 10k$? Sharding, or will Pos bring back the aura? In the past, I could always trust ETH in the long term or future value growth but at this point I have reduced my ETH holdings to buy Sol, as I am not sure what will support based on its implications for the overall development of ETH for altcoins. 10k$ is very unlikely as I guess, POS can cause crashes So, what is the other one? Ethereum can reach 10k$ but we don't know the exact date on when did this happen. Because the price is always moving up and down. But one thing for sure is that ethereum will touch 10k$ in the near future. Our only problem is to determine when did it will going to happen.
The price of $10k could happen this year if market conditions were like last April, many factors made the price of ethereum skyrocket and the most influential internal factor was the number of large projects such as AAVE, Polygon, LINK and so on which were the driving factors for the price of Ethereum.

Well the question is obviously not will it reach in 10 years, but will it reach around these days, or at least maximum of 6 months or so. Who thinks that ethereum wouldn't be 10k in 10 years, of course it will be unless something major crashes in the system, that is not the question and you should not take it as it is. The idiotic super hyperbole numbers like "will shiba be $1???" is both a troll and also by the same logic that could happen one day too, maybe it will take 100 years but it could still reach there one day, who knows maybe 300 years but as long as things go right, it is possible for that to happen.So, what is the other one? This is why we should not judge people of what they ask, we should just be helpful towards them. For example I could say "I do not believe that 10k in the next 6 months is in the cards for ethereum" and that would be some sort of help, or at least my opinion on the subject.
Developing of eth 2.0. can have important impact on eth regarding price probably. But we dont have month or date when will they release 2.0. So hard to say clear any prediction.

Most times it's hard to predict the future price of top coins like Ethereum, this is because it takes a lot from the team and its community to pump hard, it is not like some shitcoins with low market cap which can be shilled and it pump just like that. However, Ethereum will really reach $10k because the team have set an implementation which will keep making its price valuable and that was done during the last London hard fork which keeps burning ETH when a transaction takes place. Secondly, with London hard fork in place and the forthcoming Ethereum blockchain upgrade, it will all lead to more attention on Ethereum which will in turn lead to more price growth.
Lastly, there is no one who can state correctly when $10k will be reached, it might be this year, can be next year or the years ahead.
Ethereum is one of the blockchain networks that has enormous potential, this can be seen from the very significant movement of ETH so far, with a fairly large token burning of course etherem has a great chance to reach $10k, but not in time near this.
When BTC run every coin runs with it, no matter how strong or weak the coin is.
In last bull run Eth crossed 4k and predictions were that it will cross 5k and 10k but it collapsed.

Sooner or later, Ethereum is sure to hit the $10k price.
Unfortunately, it is not known whether this will be possible during this bull run.
If there are no bad surprises, there is a good chance that it will happen by the end of this year.
We don't know how long this bull run will last, but in my opinion, even if the bear market starts, Ethereum is still a very good investment right now. It can possibly happen, especially when bull trend come. Not only bitcoin but some altcoins can get affected too. I am holding Ethereum now, and maybe although without staking it, i still can get profit too when bull run come, maybe in next year when ETH follow bitcoin price that usually pumped first.
