I don't think this window of opportunity is too small for eth because I see some high-value factors supporting eth's path, and first, we should consider this is only the first quarter, the value of eth has occurred positive changes. Besides, bitcoin is making a connection with altcoin, eth is getting a lot of influence when its value has reached nearly $300, and this connection will last as bitcoin is expected to hit record prices this year, finally, ethereum technology is undergoing an upgrade, an outcome that will be a breakthrough for value

I think that in order for ETH to grow to $1,400, Bitcoin needs to grow to at least $2,000, and that may not be enough.
I can't see a return to the ATH this year, that is too optimistic. But ETH has a strong team and a carefully planned roadmap, and they are progressing. It is likely years until smart contracts are embedded in society and ETH gets mainstream adoption, but in the shorter term I can certainly see a decent price rise. Just not a new ATH.

crypto is volatile and thats the reason why its growing too much . it would take sometime for btc to reach 20k but why must we wait for btc before other coins rise ? why can we just do something to up those coins that we want to up . it is possible guys , all we gotta do is keep buying and avoid selling for now . i dont know if the coin will not increase that way but holding without selling is not realy possible because most of use are also doing a business using crypto .

It takes much longer than a year for ETH to grow to $1,400 in this market, so it is unlikely that we will see $1,400 worth of ETH this year.

But if bitcoin goes to $20k tomorrow that doesn't mean ETH will pass the $1400 mark. for that eth should grow in bitcoin price and not in dollar price. I really would love to see it happen, but will be hard to see Ethereum at 0.075BTC.

It is difficult to predict the future of this market but hopefully Bitcoin can rise well because this is the decisive coin for the next trend of this market. I think ETH should only be predicted at $500 because this is the price this coin needs to reach soon. If Bitcoin grows to $20,000, I highly doubt that ETH will cost $1,400, I think ether will cost about $500-700.

And even we reach into $20k price of Bitcoin but not it makes assurance that ETH will fly so much. If we could remember last 2017, we only got $1k at its peak. The current market flow isn't so strong to push the market for a big jump. May it was so early and it all been unpredictable but I'm not positive that we reach to even $1k ETH price for this year.

The short answer is probably not. $1400 is too high. Maybe in 5 to ten years time, but I would not bet the house on it

Nothing is impossible and not even in this volatile market. It can surpass it as it has already begun with a good chance to do well this year. I hope most alternative coins that have been sleeping for years will also perform well this year. The outlook sem to be great for the year 2020
Of course nothing's impossible but for ETH to break $1400, BTC first needs to break $20k. That's just how it's gonna be for the entire crypto market. BTC won't determine the exact fates for alts, but alts will only moon when Bitcoin does. And not all of them will wake up, we'll still see alts die in a major way.
