Maybe this year ethereum will go up in price because there is a change to ethereum 2.0, but I am not sure if ethereum can reach $ 1,400 this year. This year eth should be able to improve because the previous year eth prices continued to fall, so developers to make changes to eth and hope that eth prices could rise after the change.
Of course ETH is a very promising coin, but this year ETH is unlikely to grow to a price of $1400, my forecast is $500.
returning to $ 500 is still very good for Ethereum, but for $ 1400 Ethereum can definitely do it, 2020 is still long, we can still see it maybe after upgrading to ETH 2.0 I think that ETH will obviously be worth more than $800 in time, because its ATH is about $1500, I think in time we can see ETH at $2000.
You cannot bet on a coin by looking at their all time high valuation, if you look at the alt coin market all the coins in the market are down from their all time high valuation but that does not mean that it will climb to their peak valuation, you have to take into account the ICO rally when the market started to pump to those levels and it is clear where those projects are and that trend is done and dusted and you have to take into account all these things. 
Ethereum without doubt best of entire altcoins. It has achieved the ath value of $1400+ value along with the price of bitcoin. Later there isn't no big growth followed by the growth of bitcoin. Surely there is more growth to happen in the coming days as the market keeps widening with more and more special occasions to happen this year with cryptocurrencies.

The improvements graph of Ethereum network increasing rapidly and it's my estimate it could touch $500 or more in the second quarter of this year but touching $1400 mark looks quite difficult this year because of the tough competition which is going to be happen this year but I hope Ethereum can be a decent coin this year to make profit.
I'm not disclosing it since it is already been reached before but the current market flows looks so different at this time. We're not in the bullish yet and we are still far from December ends, therefore there is still a chance to make another high but think of $1,400 is quite (really)high.
I even just hopes that Ethereum price will reach $500, this is good enough for investors and traders to bring back their losses in the previous years when the market turns down badly.

$1400 is very optimistic.

Looking at the current price chart of Ethereum at this very moment of the year 2020, Ethereum's price is currently playing at $160+ which is too far far the price prediction or expectation you are looking forward to be the price of Ethereum for this year round. Although that can be possible to make happen since we are just getting started and the first month of the year 2020 is just about to end so we do still have 11 months to spend with, I think there will be lots of happenings that can take place which might trigger the improvement of the price of Ethereum to get into a pump this year. I am not saying that the price mark will be enclosed into $1,400 but it can be possible to be close to that value. But as of the moment, we can never tell through prediction because there are still a lot of possible things to happen that can contribute to the increase or the other way around. Let us just all hope for the best things to happen not just for Ethereum but as well as for the whole cryptocurrency.
maybe, as far i know , eth have a good roadmap on this year , and that mean, eth have a bright future , even right now , eth already touch 160++ , i just have speculation , people have attention to eth , of course its probably because eth 2.0

ETH is not anymore popular. Is that what you are saying? The last time I checked, Ethereum remains at the second spot in CMC, next only to Bitcoin. And if my memory serves me right this time, it has been like this for the past couple of years at least.
The possibility of ethereum reaching the $1400 target hinges on Bitcoin reaching the over $20,000 target. On a serious note, this is quite logical and possible this year considering the bitcoin halving and ethereum 2.0 which is expected to hold this year and could be instrumental to the price increase.

A lot of speculation about what price of eth could reach this year. Price could possibly increase below $1k but we really don't know if this year could reach more than $1k. About popularity on eth we cannot tell this early if its over but once there is an event to happen price could pump in the market. That would go a hard pump there. And if by any means Ethereum reach that price Bitcoin would definitely be in another game. Beside before we see that what must be met would be in Bitcoin's condition first. As it when bitcoin go spike, alts will do the same thing. Therefore we should see Bitcoin extreme pump that on the other hand we are assured that alts will have the same thing. As for if Eth will reach it this year? We couldn't say it yet we can just speculate but not conclude nor confirm.
Everything can happen except that ETH demand has begun to decrease since the ICO trend began to fall and after that the price of ETH continues down until now which is still at the level of 160$.
That era where investment mostly being held using this coin already passed it's popularities but there's still chances that once Bitcoin start to jump high mostly this coin also being pump and follow Bitcoin movement. We don't know and there's no assurance what future will bring to this project only time will tell if this momentum will be achieved.

This is an impossible task to achieve as I feel Ethereum can reach a maximum of around $1000 if we have a bull run similar to 2017 that too not not guaranteed so anything over $1k for Ethereum does not sounds feasible to me.
