What kind of relationship are you referring to? Is it our husband's, if there is one? With relatives or friends?Actually, all of that will affect what I mentioned.
I think OP refers to any relationship. It can be
the relationship with husband/wife, with kids, with family members, with friends, or with the neighborhood. Gambling habits can bring both positive and negative impacts to the relationship, it depends on how we manage our gambling habits. When we spend too much time and funds, it probably brings negative impacts. But if we only use small funds and spend only some minutes or few hours, it seems to have no bad impacts.
But gambling also has a good effect when you win a large amount of money from it. And when that happens, of course, your own family and friends will be happy for you.
Other people only can feel happiness when we want to share the prizes.
I mean when we win good prizes, spend some money to share with others. For example, use some money for a holiday with the whole family members or treat friends to take a lunch.
But when you often lose gambling and your behavior changes because you have an addiction to it, your relationships with your family, relatives, and friends will definitely be affected.
Sure, when we become an addict, the behavior may change. We can't control ourselves to limit the funds and time for gambling. We also becomes too obsessed with the prizes. Because we spend too much time and funds, we forget to communicate with others. We probably are getting rarely gather with our close people. This is surely to ruin the relationship with others. That's why we must remind ourselves to avoid anything that can lead us to addiction.
