Yes you can become successful than through as the world has started to adapt the innovative technology called blockchain even businesses and countries created their very own digital currencies. In my opinion, if you are one of the bounty hunters here trying seek some profit or solely aiming big profits, I guess you can't be rich on bitcoin directly. Unless you have a lot of money/capital to buy bitcoin then apply bullish or hold in a long term. But as an ordinary trader here, I can only be rich through altcoins only, and I can do that by simply participate in the bounty campaigns.
It is not a bad idea to have a wealthy mindset, but it is a bad idea when that is all you think of when investing into something. At least, you should understand everything about what you want to get into. No it isn't. If you have that kind of mentality you will most likely lose your chance to get wealthy. Being skeptical and negative is not good. Cryptocurrency and block chain technology brought a lot of opportunities to people and businesses to grow more.
I guess patience is virtue here. This is actually the right time to buy bitcoin and most of the potential altcoins. Most of the good coins are at their last support lines and its hard to go below from here.
In my opinion, it is not too late to invest into Bitcoin. Cause Bitcoin all time high was almost $20k and now staying under $7k and this is the perfect time to grab some Bitcoin.

Maybe. Most people who buy Bitcoin at this time have the same intention as you. I think that exact intention is what will make it hard for Bitcoin to make another new high. I do expect Bitcoin to make higher high and make me rich too, but as time goes by I only see it as a wishful thinking, a bit unrealistic one.

There are some ways to become rich or wealthy by means of bitcoin but it will not be overnight. Trading and long term investment are two of the best strategies to earn profits in using bitcoin or in any other cryptocurrency. Trading bitcoin is risky and you need to become expert before you manage to earn signicant profits. Long term investment is only for investors that have a patience for long term waiting. There other kinds of investment that use bitcoin like joining ICO but you must be careful on this type of investment because there are more scams than legitimate ones.
