Music can really change ones lives but it depends on what kind of music you listen, it can change your lives for the better or for the worst, if you listen to good music these can help you gain inspiration and can motivate you to feel and do better in lives but if you listen to sad, fault language and rock song with no so good lyrics you might end up depress and suicide.

Throughout society, many question if music actually has a strong affect on people or even if it can change peoples lives in general. In my opinion yes, music can change peoples live in a huge way. I seen in many cases where music helps a person stay out of trouble due to peer pressure or even helps them deal with mental, physical, or even emotional abuse they encounter on a daily basis.

My question for you guys is.... Do you believe music can change peoples lives and why? Also if you have been affected by music in any way please feel free to share your story on how it affected you and or change your life.

Thank you 😊
Music is like my daily dose of mood supplement. What I mean by this is that, for instance I am feeling very frustrated, I always listen to my favorite bands and all of the sudden I forget all my frustration. Music has really changed the way I look at life, in My early childhood, I was always bullied and depressed I am on the verge of committing suicide, when I watched a video on Youtube about suicide and what made me stop mostly is the backhround music, it literally made me cry and motivated me to be strong. From then on, I was always listening to music. Music changed my life Smiley

Music can change the mood of individuals actually, it is a matter of emotional feelings involved actually. This will depend on how you believe in the music. And sometimes music reflects your personalities also. It can give you a good result and it can also give you a bad result.

A certain collection of music, which is listened to at any given moment, can be a kind of antidepressant aka sedative. Mood Different with Music Actually not only with calm, but certain music can be used to create a variety of moods or attitudes (state) particular to you. In the world of learning NLP (Neuro Linguitics Programming) even said that you can do "anchor" (conditioning) with certain music. At the time the music is heard, you will be brought to the atmosphere or conditions associated with the song. playing certain spirit songs to awaken and motivate

Yes, I definitely think music can change lives and inspire others to do what they want the most. I feel it can bring out the best character in them because they can relate to ones music in certain ways and in different ways than anyone else, which causes them to get inspired and the will power to do or change their current lifestyle.

Yes, music is an expression and as any expression it can change lives and create a ripple effect. Lets name some artists/bands that have had a huge impact on how society developed:

Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi
Beatles, Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson
Backstreet Boys (LOL)
Armin Van Buren
HipHop in general

Beatles influenced a huge amount of the 60's 70's generation and still today, Rolling Stones have changed the way rockstars behave etc. It was headline news when Rolling Stones smashed a guitar on stage! The Beatles influenced a generation spiritually and opened up minds to eastern philosophy and drugs.
Elvis Presley changed the way TV is used and music itself creating a new genre. In his time Elvis was only allowed to be shown from chest up cause his hips moved around to much and it was considered to sexual.
Michael Jackson changed Pop music and how we dance.
Backstreet Boys have basically set the boyband trend, where things like One Direction are a product of.

Armin Van Buren has reïnvented electronic music.

HipHop which started in the Bronx in the 70's or early 80's has added a whole new genre and without it we wouldn't have all those kids wearing baggy clothes and bragging about their expensive cars and bitches. Though this was not what HipHop was about back then, it was a way of expression as all music is.

Music changes lives, cultures, societies and has led the revolution against the Vietnam War. So yeah it definitely changes lives. Without any of the artists mentioned above who knows how society would have looked like today? The implications are immense, of the scale. Richter would have had to reinvent his scale!

Well even not considering possible effects on the brain having it as a hobby sure makes a difference. It can be a kind of comfort during tough times or to while away boredom. It's usually those times that people, especially kids are prone to unwholesome thoughts.
