MyEtherWallet works great so I don't know where you came upon this information. People just need to be sensible about taking precautions not to get phished, but then that is true of all financial applications.
What op was talking I think its about the split of mycrypto and myetherwallet.
MEW is still good as before and I'm still using it without any problems.

Well, obviously this is a fake news and posts like this should be controlled. It is a good thing that the users/members are so smart to test first before they jump into conclusions or actions. To icohunter1024, I guess you need to try it yourself first before you spread some news that you cannot answer where the information came from. It will amaze you when you get to know that I personally still use it. The problem encountered then is that the DNS was attacked, based on the information I had.

Nicely said and explained. Keep safe your private keys and you will do just fine in crypto-world.
Many comments here in this thread shows that many people don`t have a clue what private keys are. That`s something that every crypto-enthusiast should know
from start. Some of this comments come from higher ranked members, they still don`t know nothing about wallets and private keys, that`s a shame.

You just said you heard though so u are just asking because of your curiosity. I am seeing this which I am finding it hard to believe why it will stop working, some people might just come up with some things to pull the awareness of people maybe this is one of the tactics.
I am hearing this first time and I was shocked to read this.. I do not think mew will ever be stopped working as I believe this is the best wallet to keep it eth and erc tokens. It will keep on working without any problem.

I used Myetherwallet since 2016 still i have never heard anything wrong likes mew is not working. So don't spread rumor without reference because your alligation is absolutely wrong.
I never had a problem using MyEtherWallet, just make sure you are always on the official website because there are a lot of copycat sites designed to steal your crypto. If you connect with a hardware wallet you are even safer in case of a DNS attack.
MEW wallet isn't constrained however boundless to be utilized also you have the full subtleties of the wallet like the wallet address, private key and utc or keystore of the wallet you made. I don't think this news about myetherwallet wallet is true. Better you should post the source of the news. I think MyEtherWallet will continue it's journey. A wallet like myetherwallet can't be stop. If something changes they will develop new environment as I think. People always spread this type of rumors to scam people or just for fun. You should report this kind of news. I have never heard such news, maybe you are reading the wrong sources of information you need. MEW is one of the best wallets that I know. Use it further and do not worry.
