I think that series has no effect in bitcoin. The way they they presented is not that good and had some vulgar scenes that isn't appropriate to some viewers. It is not really a good series in promoting bitcoin. You can do many things in promoting bitcoin other than that. You can even tell other people to on how to use bitcoin and how to bitcoin related things like what i have done to one of my clasmates recently where I taught him on how to trade using a good exchange site like  darb exchange so that he can trade there. The good thing about it is that he can spread the word about bitcoin, and his listeners can do the same thing also.

I watched it, and I think this film, despite all its shortcomings. Can be a means of education to the community. I really like the idea, and also the film

Bitcoin is fun for those who understand and are interested in such aspects. But for those who don't then yeah this cartoon would be a less complicated way of putting btc to people's awareness. Haven't watched a single episode yet but i'm planning to do so later. If it's as good as family guy then we're in for a nice ride.
An animated movie about bitcoin will not change people's thinking and awareness of bitcoin because cartoons are only suitable for children, although I know that some adults still love to watch but the rate for this problem is very low. In addition, high entertainment is always what a movie can give viewers, and viewers only like to focus on interesting things, instead of bitcoin, so advertising bitcoin through an animated movie, it won't create too much usefulness

I think if cartoons are only for small children and is it true that if we make cartoons, investors will return to invest in bitcoin ... ??

Really? You need to broaden your horizons, friend. I'll give you a few examples.
There are cartoons with more mature audience. As a matter of fact, there are cartoons that should not be watched by children, like South Park. Some of the Marvel and DC superhero cartoons are made for wide audience and I enjoyed watching them as a teenager. Last but not least, there's anime. It ranges from series for children to really mature content for adults that's no different from what Hollywood is serving us.

I have to agree here. I do not myself personally enjoy this kind of cartoons. I saw the Bitcoin video,,, it was funny at some parts but other parts they are not that great, but that is the same with any film. South Park has a rating of Age 10 and above, if I am not mistaken, and yet it has material like boys putting their mouths on other boys dicks (Cartman of course!),,, and everyone says that is OK, and I can respect that.

Humor is a strange thing. Some people think there should be boundaries. But the point of humor for me is that we not take things 100% serious all the time correct?

It's a good video, and I like it. Fun "the only thing I can think of is to get the most from Bitcoin, unless this cartoon makes it happen, I don't think it can make Bitcoin fun anymore. Speaking of the cartoon itself, I think that there is an arrow that shows him and I think it will fall to the general audience that adults watch, the only thing I can think of is that it will only be bearable for people who have become Bitcoin or digital currency industry.

This thread's a little unusual if I say so, from the smattering of responses. About half are saying the content is too vulgar and nsfw... You don't really see people complaining about adult themes in services section, meta or even in gambling.

The problem is no that is vulgar, the problem is that it is only vulgar.
Family Guy was (was!!!!) funny and vulgar, some movies are action packed vulgar without sex, some really good scenes from moves are vulgar but still send a message.
This is just vulgar, I was watching it and only got a meh reaction.

Plus that scene about the double spending and the old card was like watching a raccoon trying to play Hamlet, it was simply too painful, so fake, I simply had to skip two minutes....

Yeah, some people don't understand art but this is not about art, this is a poor scenario that lacks a lot and the problem is I feel like it wants to send a message but even they don't have a clue how to send and what kind of message it is.

Bottom line, glad to see something trying to be done, disappointed on the results.

Fair points, all of them, and I hope the show's creator sees that. I recall how South Park's debut went and it got a lot of shellacking too, as did the first couple of episodes for GoT. Things are funny that way to me on first impressions. How so many cult favourites in film, music and art originally got nothing but ridicule and despise.

I didn't even really think it was a great first episode myself, but I suppose like Bitcoin adoption itself, you've got to gauge reactions and target audience well before releasing something like this into the wild.

Thanks for all the comments again, everyone;)

A series like this has to go viral for it to have any affect on the price, and with 55 000 views, I serious doubt that it will have a significant affect on Bitcoin adoption. There are just too many other, higher quality content on Youtube for people to get hooked on this series.  Tongue

I have seen some pretty good content on Youtube that covers Bitcoin content and it has a lot more views than 55 000. The early Bitcoin mining tutorials are just one good example of that.  Tongue Wink

is bitcoin fun before ? i dont think so . bitcoin for me is thrilling coz its like a roller coaster ride when the price can go up and down in a fast and unexpected manner  . however this videos/movies is a good way to help bitcoin to be recognized by other individuals  . i like how they title it  . its true by the way  ,  you can make friends if you use bitcoin  . whether it is online or offline because you can ask someone and you can also teach someone in regards to bitcoin talks  .

The story seems good for a "story" and it seems actually based on events on bitcoin just made dramatic and fun to watch. I agree although that it seems vulgar at first with those illustrations on the wall. But it actually was gone throughout the video. Seems creator is showing what the actual environment he is seeing the world is.

His world must be really grim then because that's all that I can see in this video. Abuse, selfishness, loneliness. Like it was directed by some emo child.

A number of scenes that were unneeded and boring like the one with those pissing hobos or punching Hal Finney. If you see art in this you are something else.

Nope. I think I am just good at appreciating one's effort. You should try it. It keeps the positivity flowing. Even they find good stuff in the movie.

This is funny!

Bitcoin and Friends asking for a Bitcoin Cash donation from Roger Ver to "cast" the better looking "actor" to play the part of "Roger Pear"! Hahaha.

Can't understand the title, what does it mean to make bitcoin fun?
Btw I liked begining but was expecting absolutely different continue of situation. I think it will be nice to make something scifi related to bitcoin, make a mistic story of a man who got in jail, his bank accounts were frozen and etc. One day this man desided to run away, escape like it is in The Shawshank Redemption and since he couldn't get in public, he did everything with his last securely saved money, hired house, bought pc and started working on own currency which will be named as Bitcoin and then so on........ There can be a very log story.
Maybe not a bad idea, what do you think guys?

It would be awesome if one of those ICo signature campaign decided to give bonus for fun posts. It is easier to post memes and joken them to write about LN or coinjones.

But bizonacci, for me, is one of the funniest things ever. I always enjoy seeing his videos.

Just watched the video, It's interesting and the same time bothersome. Every time he found a block he always pukes mini bitcoin. I guess the story is inspired by the US 2008 financial crisis which many US citizen has been hit by poverty.
Also in the first episode it still centralised if I am not confusing. If the character B (Bitcoin) dies then everything gone. I am interested to see what happen next. I felt there are some miss/wrong information but overall it's interesting.
