All investment sites especially cloud mining sites are just scam created by owners to scam some money out of their investors. If the promised return was too good to be true, its most probably that it will turn into scam for about days maybe hours so be careful witj them. I too have experienced being scammed by those scammers when I was still a newbie and I learned the hard way to never invest on investment sites especially if the site was running for long time.

I have encountered in bitcoins scam once.  I just received from the campaign cand I simply Google my online wallet and logged in thats it my fund is empty in the wallet due to I have logged in scam site which is same like a block chain.
First of all i am really sorry for your loss.
as we can see blockchain.info spoof in google sponsored results, i am just wondering how could you lose that coins i mean when you login to the site, email confirmation will send to you and you must verify it before accsess them so if the hacker got your password he can't open it before verify the email, anyway i am advising you to bookmark the real site and never google it.

Well, beware of the autosurf sites, that pay in bitcoin, they are especially nasty ponzi schemes, and many people have fallen into the trap. Also, to avoid scam, dont use cloud mining sites and check here before investing in any sites. This is for the safety of your own money.

You should not trust all the sites that are on the internet. Every country has its own laws and for this reason, often a website in the internet does not fulfill what it promises and you can not process this site. That is why you should not trust the sites that are on the internet.

When I say that you should not trust the sites that are on the internet, I am not telling you not to use sites that are on the internet, I am saying that if you use sites that are on the internet, you must use with great caution.

Sites like PTC, Revenue share, matrix, HYIP / Ponzi, double bitcoin, are dangerous and many of these sites are created by scammers, thieves.

common sense will cover most of it. as far as i'm concerned if anyone asks for my coins then i'm gonna assume it's a scam. end of.

the only circumstances where that's different is an established exchange, gambling site or payment processor. everyone else will be a thief.

that goes for 'investments' 'securities', cloud mining, web wallets, its all bullshit. no legit company is offering any interest nor can they guarantee any returns.

it's totally natural that bitcoin will attract scum. assume everyone is and you'll be fine.

It will be very hard, because many scams are very developed. Firstly check if webpage have real address, not just E mail. Secondly check, if they give update on webpage - sometimes it can be old scam. I also would suggest check if webpage provide true info or just scam everywhere.

some of common scams i've encountered was a site where you can get free btc with 0.0000004 BTC/min. and they offer to upgrade your account in order to withdraw your btc and then after a few days you upgraded your account your waiting for your cashout in nothing. stay away from sites where you're gonna invest and then they will double it. much better if you invest your money in some gambling sites which is good because of stable profit

A very common scam is people will go through exchange threads and find people who have recently done trades with other people and contact them wanting to do a trade with them as well.

Literally every time I do an exchange on this forum I always have 1 or 2 people private messaging me wanting to do some sort of trade for their paypal like I offered some sort of open invitation to trade with others after I have already done what I wanted.

I usually see the offer, if I think that the offer is too good to be true then I will definetely avoid it. Other ways, doing some researches before joining any sites. I'm sure you can fine some reviews or comments about the sites, check if there are too many bad reviews then stay way from it.
Beware and be smart on anything you want to do online.

One world One currency, Bitcoin.
i have witnessed many bitcoin scams but invested on minimum of them. i didnot remembered the site names but i can tell their pattern. once they have opened a wallet something named btcera which gives 3% monthly for using their wallet and other are a cloudmining site with a package system. if you buy a higher package then you will get faster income and you have to claim it every 15min

When you see some service si offering something that TOO GOOD to be true, like let's say 20% of your deposit everyday for a month. They will make you invest and will wait until a lot of people have invested, then they'll just go for a maintenance and take all of peoples invested bitcoins.

20% is way too much, even if a site offers 3% daily for a month it is still not trustworthy, because how come a site can earn every investors 3% of there investment? If i invest 5btc into their website, how will they manage to pay me 3% of that everyday until a month or more? Basically any site promising returns without doing anything should be considered a scam, whether they are offering 2% or 20% a day.

I got scammed by faucets, cloud minings, hyips and ponzi schemes etc.
Just remember one thing that the websites providing more payouts than usual are mostly scam, but even if a website is offering valid offers you should have a check on its history to know if its reputation is good or not.

If you're too lazy to think or still unsure, the best way for you is to ask about that website to other people Roll Eyes
Simple search with search engine should work for common scam trick.

All the scams and ponzis usually teach some same universal lessons. So, before investing our money just remembering those will save us all the times. One prime lesson must be : no one will give us free/effortless money.

Just check for core business concepts, if you are comfortable with the way of source of funds generation, you may invest as the chances will be less for getting scammed.

There are so many scams it is impossible to name them all, if you want to find the ones that people are falling for at the moment (which may be the hardest to spot) then go to the Trading Discussion > Scam Accusations of this forum

if they offering something big reward in short term with small investment, i think its not make sense because we all know that investment is like what we have to invest, that is what we get later. if we make big invest, then we can get big return too and it should not in short term. i use this to know if the programs is real or not but again its not guarantee, just some analysis from me.
