I agree with you, no one knows exactly who Satoshi Nakamoto is and also no one knows who can stop bitcoin. however, as explained, bitcoin will still be mined and run within the available token limit.

The current supply limit will is already written and it will be continued to be mined until it reaches the total supply limit and estimation for the last bitcoin to be mined was around year 2140.

How can Satoshi stop bitcoin, mate? Even we don't know he is a single person or ID of multiple persons. Also, Satoshi won't disappear if he wants to stop Bitcoin. After he sacrificed to disappear for years, it is a bit impossible that he will be suddenly appearing to the public and state to stop Bitcoin. Instead, we will suspect he is a fake Satoshi. Please remember that Satoshi has a dream to make Bitcoin be digital cash, it is written in Bitcoin WP. I believe he won't stop it till Bitcoin can achieve the goal. Or even Bitcoin has reached the goal, Satoshi surely won't destroy it as it has been an important part of human life.

Adoption had already spread into a certain extent thats why its just senseless to think that he would just come out to public and trying to stop bitcoin in means of technical aspect.
This might be a non-sense topic but for the sake of discussion then it isnt half-bad either.

Who would be the one to stop a revolutionary invention that he do sees that it did help lots of people? Getting away from centralization and to be your own bank?

Not seeing any good reason also why he will do such thing. After a decade of existence and benefiting the crypto community, why would he ever think of stopping the bitcoin mania? So even if he has the way to stop it, not gonna see he will do such crazy thing on his creation.

because it is open-source and decentralized, Bitcoin can no longer be "stopped". Satoshi not only made a cryptocurrency that no one else could control but it applied to him too.

Satoshi is a great thinker, he not only made Bitcoin unstoppable but made Bitcoin unable to increase in number and forever it would only be 21 million coins.

however he is the same able to make some interventions on the main net moving some of his coins.
this will be for a certain point of view very disruptive since the market couldn't understand why there is a movement like this (panic selling!).
this will not stop bitcoin itself but for sure could have a very strong impact on the whole market.

We all know Satoshi Nakamoto is the creator of bitcoin and blockchain technology. Bitcoin is a successful cryptocurrency that many altcoins tries to outrun bitcoin, but they don't succeed that bitcoin remains number one in the crypto market. It is the reason why it has made a lot of improvement to it's price that it unexpectedly reach $20K last year of 2017, and it still trying to reach it's new ATH. So what are the reasons why Satoshi would want to stop bitcoin as one of his greatest creation because if he would stop his it, it already happened years ago.

I don't think that will happen because he has given the creative power to the community. That means it is impossible to erase the technology of bitcoin or burn it all down. Unlike other projects, bitcoin is mined with a miner and comes from 0 bitcoins. He can only destroy bitcoins by attacking 51% and now if he wants to do that he needs to have a larger number of miners than the entire number of bitcoin miners in the world. Projects held by ICOs through smart contracts on the ethereum, NEO, EOS, TRX networks ... can burn coins they own by the contract's owner.

theres no reason why he will stop his creation. if he wanted to, he should have done that a long time ago. and we have been more than a decade in crypto, and btc adoption is growing everyday. the strength of btc has been tested once again during this pandemic and yet instead of going down, it continues to increase its value.
i dont see any valid reason why he will stop this good invention for nothing. a lot of people are benefitting from this invention so why stop?

This is a financial freedom and you think he would want it back?
Taking it back already ruined the purpose he created it in the first place making him waste his time hiding undercover for years.
Only new projects with the aim to scam would do that to it's investors.
