Of course it is not impossible to steal.Because the hackers are very clever and intelligent, therefore they will steal, whatever they are.Their target is to hack or steal. If someone goes on their sight and knows that he has more Btc,then the hackers will steal must. Therefore, do not use caution If you can, everything will be wasted. To be careful and keep your password, number, etc safely.

Yes,  anybody can steal your  bitcoin. If someone make a programme and make a loop around your programme and also can steal your bitcoin. For this problem you need a powerful system and a secure wallet.

maybe it will happen but to generate the random letter and number 52 key need to very very long time, and as we know that private key of our wallet is random and not consecutive, so it will happen but they need to generate and test it to try hack our wallet private key

Hi, have you ever thought this?

You know that, to import a wallet you need the private key or your seed. Taking as example the private key (the 52 letters key). It could exist the possibility someone create a software whose function was to try thousands of times to find the private key till it is be done. This would be like the process to find the new block in mining, anyway you can try the times you want in order to find it.

I think this could be a weakness, correct me if I am wrong. Smiley

Or comment if you have a kind of solution for this...

Regards!

Bitcoin itself is not the only Cryptocurrency that currently can be used, there are several other systems that also provide similar products. But from the survey results, stated that Bitcoin remains the most popular among others. This is in line with respondents' beliefs, 47.9 percent believe that by the end of the year Bitcoin's conversion value can reach 60 million.

The safest way to store bitcoin is with a hardware wallet. As for cracking bitcoin, current computers are not powerful or fast enough to do it. Quantum computers will be able to, but very likely current blockchains will be forked as a countermeasure.

There is the possibility that somebody can steal your bitcoin , because in the digital world it is full of people who have the knowledge to do monkey business , like scamming , hacking of accounts , transferring of funds , without permissions these are the activities of people who done illegal to others ,even friends will do these , so try to secure your wallet where you store your bitcoins and be safety always in making transactions in the internet.

You mean bruteforce the private key? Its impossible to do that and as far as I know, the private key is very secure and I haven't heard any weaknesses for far found in in the SHA256 or ECDSA or RIPEMD160 algorithms. And assuming that the present algorithm was so secured that no one found to exploit it, private key can last so long that we can even go back in the beginning of time and go to the present time (that's billions of years) and no one can still crack it.

I do not know, but we do not know the hacker thought way. I think it could be to create software to break into your private key. So maybe you should be more careful to store bitcoin in the wallet. If you can find wallets that have double security like 2FA authenticator.

imagine a desert. i go in the middle of it in a random location, pick up one grain of sand color it green and leave it there. can you find it?
you can start from the start of the desert or in the middle or wherever else and look at thousands of grains of sand every milli second but you won't find it. that is similar to looking for one private key with a "software"!
Lol even if he spends a lifetime he cant find that grain lol..

But seriously private keys wont be a reason for our wallet to be hacked the soul reason we can be is from our negligence, from being careless in using internet going to other site that not secured, and many other relevant thing.

Thats why the things to do is keep security and be careful for not to become a victim of hacking

I think it's possible but it would need quantum computers or super computer to crack bitcoin cryptography and to control the blockchain that processes all the private key transaction and you need to crack a block in a minute or you would do it all over again cause once the block is completed and a new block comes in, you will start from the beginning.

There's possibility that someone can hack your wallet but if you are talking about brute Force the private key I think that is still not possible yet and to brute Force something like that need a very long time to succeed, for now the protection of the wallet is still strong, so the chances for someone to hack through brute Force is really slim

Yes, hackers can steal our Bitcoins. But before they happen they need a long time to carry it out. The private key consists of different types of letters and numbers and is very difficult to guess.

I do not think anyone can steal BTC from my wallet even with a great thief, unless my key wallet is stolen, it could have taken them btc in my wallet
I'm sure wallet security is very strong because every user is given a key for every wallet

I do not think it's impossible to get it, because all the thieves have every way to do it and have it, so basically have to be careful to secure what we milki because wherever and whenever we never know thieves will do it.

I don't so.
Otherwise, bitcoin would have collapsed long ago.
Too many strong guys are looking for such gaps in the system, but they don't succeed (unless you allow).

So just follow the instructions and stay safe!  Wink

If you set your information such that it will be only to yourself then i cant see why others may get access to your wallet. It is only possible when you put less care with your security. I always suggest to put sensitive data in cold storage or offline wallet.

very much, the more rapidly the development of this era the more evil modes arise, and they move increasingly sophisticated. recently like Phishing, this sophisticated crime mode, they break into our wallets through our email.
