for now the price of bitcoin is currently down 50%, but we have to look at the history of bitcoin when the price of bitcoin goes down there is a possibility that in a few months it will rise again and I hope for this year it will happen again.

The market have withstood a lot in the past but what is happening right now is something unexpected, because of this the market crashed by over 50% do you think the market can recover if this scenario worsen and last for several months, what could be the possible solution here in the market.

The crypto market is one which have great value and potential, so what it is facing now, I don't think it is enough to crash it totally. Yes the market is down but from time past, it has always withstand many bad case scenarios so I don't see this as any different. Just like you pointed out, yes this time it's different owing the virus spreading across the world but not only the crypto market is affected in this case, stock market isn't left out and we all know the stock market will bounce back as well once everything starts settling down. So in all essence, the crypto market will stand this trial or this trying times as it has come a long way and there is still more to be achieved in the future.

Yes. The market will recover in the coming months. If we think about 2018 then we can understand how long it takes to recover the market. The dump of 2018 was larger than the previous market dump. So no need to be too panic here. From now on, the preparations for the next market up.

Just look at the Bitcoin chart for the last 2 years to understand that this is not a test at all.
This could be called a test if everything that happens now happens separately from the entire financial market, however, as we can see the whole world market is now in decline, and this is a definite correlation.

In the past the price of bitcoin were fell from $20,000 to $3000 in the long bearish trend of 2017 to 2019 beginning its like 85% price fell from the all time high but crypto currencies able to manage and survive up to $10,000 in the recent days and possible it might reached next level if there is no corona outbreak but everything happened in no time so it take time even months or years to recover but it will, hopefully. Smiley
now it seems difficult to be able to recover prices to the highest price at $ 20k because there are few who support cryptocurrency and those who are interested in bitcoin have weakened, meaning that many have been disappointed with cryptocurrency because it cannot provide a guaranteed profit and there is no good news that can trigger the investor or whales to enter bitcoin again.
People who invested are weakened but not the people who interested.Check the bitcoin purchase orders still people are trying to buy more bitcoins but for cheaper prices so those orders are still in pending. In the near future things will get change so accumulate or hold your cryptos if you don' want to lose your profits.

The crypto space is going through a lot this period. Towards the beginning of the 2020, a lot of people have their hopes that the crypto space would recover from from its downtrends. However, the year 2020 seem to be another tough time for the crypto space as the world marke, crypto market inclusive is plaque by this Corona Virus effect. As if the whole dump is not enough, just few days ago, Russia's Central Bank seeks to ban crypto issuance and circulation. I really do hope crypto overcomes this trials.

The market will surely recover after this because when you look upon the past history of cryptocurrency, I have started from the bottom before getting into the top. Let us just stop thinking that the current situation will get even worse and that it will last longer because the crypto community will not just be the one affected from this but as well as the different sectors in the world specially the economic and health care. Let us just all hope that things will be better in which cure will now be discovered for a long term effect of solution to stop this pandemic virus affect the whole wide world. After this happenings, surely the market will slowly to recover from its loss and all of us must keep the tight on holding our assets so that when the time comes that the market recovers, we will all be benefit from it.. As of the moment, let us just took advantage of the current situation by buying more cryptocurrencies that have the potential while they are still on their current cheap price that is affordable.

The crypto market is one very volatility financial institution, I don't think there is any need to panic though this dip wasn't expected ,but bitcoin has fallen very down than it is before, yet it was able to recover, it's just a matter of time which we don't know, it can recover sooner than we expect it,so let's keep the hope alive.
Yes, and everyone will certainly keep that hope alive, because no one expects the price of bitcoin to go down, even though it has already happened, but it is something that has happened before, then recover when there is news- positive news about cryptocurrency.

For me, the market is doing well and is standing firm to this trial. As a trader, i think you have to commend certain altcoins that has done well in this market.
There is still going to be instability this week, with the support levels of bitcoin etherum and few others not strong enough.

One thing i know is that, this bearish season will definitely pass.
Yes, and the decline and increase in prices in that market will always be there at any time, only at a time like this, traders must also be able to make or take an opportunity by buying some good altcoin units to look for profit when prices rise later.

Of course it can, we have dropped from 20k to 3k before, this is basically nothing compared to something like that. I personally prefer it when prices could actually do mild moves, even if it is down doesn't matter like the time we moved from 10k to 7.5k was fine with me, those are correction level stuff we can overcome to go back up. However, when bitcoin price moves like this, it becomes a challenge for me. I am not sure if it will go up right away, or a bit later, or slowly or rapidly like I get no clue.

All the above, one thing I am 100% sure is we will overcome this, the world finances overcame A LOT bigger stuff, most recently 2008 was even worse, so this is probably a bad moment, we will probably get something horrible, but in the end we will recover and we will do a lot better.

I think even if crypto market sustains these prices for few weeks untill corovirus is controlled it would be great achievement and it will set the platform for market surge when everything gets back to normal and people come out of panic and start business as usual.
The problem is how the crypto market will sustain these prices? can you provide a way that you know to sustain prices on the crypto market? because the crypto market is very difficult to control, and even the exchange parties themselves are not all able to control the crypto market.

The market has been very bloody and this could be the best opportunity to fill one's bag but sadly, people are scared of the unknown as per the direction of this Covid-19, and its long impact on the market. Bitcoin has been rising and falling. No one can tell how this pandemic will go but if vaccine comes out on time, we should see a quick market recovery.

W ought to have gotten to a point where whatever happens to the market, no matter how worse it is, recovering should not be a problem.
It will not only recover but will also pick up from where it was left, most especially from its ATH and we would see a much higher one, However, I do not advocate to just keep waiting for that, but to make good use of ever moment that comes.
Understanding this is very crucial.

Sure, the crypto market has seen worst of days since its inception and that is the more reason why most crypto enthusiasts who have been in this industry are not panicking at this stage. Whales are taking much profits right now as they buy cheap from panic sellers.

It actually has not seen worse because a 40% decline in one day is one of the worst if not the worst. Even when Bitcoin was falling down from 20 thousand it came back to 15 and then fell to 10 days later. This time it was like falling straight down.

Most of the drop took maybe 10 minutes which is strange. Like there was completely no liquidity. It looked like around 10 thousand Bitcoins took the price down on Bitstamp by 3000 dollars. Very unusual. I'd understand if it was 500 thousand but 10?

I held my coins but we can see how weak the market is thanks to exchanges that allow leveraged trading based on USDt. They're buyilding a house of cards that can disappear in a minute.

I do not think or see this situation as a market trial or challenge, its normal to have downtrend for a while in the crypto sphere.
So i just see this as the normal bearish moments that crypto currency usually experiences.

And i think once the pandemic has a cure and is over, the world economies will stabilize and bitcoin and crypto currency will experience their spikes too and it will be even more fun if this happens before the halving.
