True. When we will have a day like that, the foundation and the people that is working behide it must be solid, mother's day, father's day or any other things that has a day achieved that special day because of the importance and the unwavering support and its importance to people.

It seemed a little unnecessary to me. But it can be done so that more people know the bitcoin.
With a good advertising campaign, it can be ensured that more people have information about the bitcoin.
The day on which bitcoin is first introduced or the day on which the first bitcoin transfer is made can be selected.

That's a great idea, but I suggest to have a crypto currency day instead of only bitcoin day. Because if crypto currency wins, bitcoin wins automatically. It will help us to draw more attention towards bitcoin and probably will see more inflow of investment towards bitcoin.

The idea is not bad, but still many people do not trust bitcoin and as yet there is no possibility in all countries to pay in stores with the help of this currency. It's too early to think about such an event.

I consider this as a good idea, this will add the awareness of people about bitcoin. That it is not something to be ignored and it has to be something that they should recognize and it is for real. Adding the word bitcoin to that day will make it raise that it is a real thing that people are celebrating but I don't know if government will recognize it.

it is a unique concept and it will be pretty helpful for it. we have not seen any dollar or euro day or any other day of any other currency. if their officials do so,it will help in its popularity and bitcoin will be known by all over the world through this concept and people will start searching for it as well and it is really helpful.

The answers are clear in my mind as the day of bitcoin will be celebrated the day on which the first transaction was created due to which it was presented to world and on that day we will have an event on any big place so people will be collected to that place to celebrate it. It may answer your question.

Ofcourse we should have the bitcoin day and also celebrate it with happiness and why not because it is a part of our life that we can't forget to have .
But here it is something complicated to celebrate in the whole world , the question is that for what for those countries who banned bitcoin .Here also I think bitcoin needed to much improve Because currently the bitcoin have problem of legality and confirmation of payment ( take time to confirm more than what we expect)

Believe me, I really impress with your idea, and i like it that we should celebrate a day of bitcoin. The day will call "Bitcoin Day", and in this way people know about the bitcoin, because i see mostly people have no knowledge about bitcoin.

This day will not be only about buying pizza or having pizza , it will be all about bitcoin , having promos or freebies on different investing or gambling sites ,and will be known in every country. Bitcoin pizza day is not supported yet because there is no way yet to purchase goods or pizza in some countries . There is still a need to cash it out ,convert in that fiat to be able to join on that day. Hoping to have bitcoin day when every country is on for purchasing goods or shippings with bitcoin.

Yes, I agree with you, By the way i think this day will be amazing day for bitcoin community, and i think we can make some rules in this day for people who have bitcoin. I mean 24 hours we can only use our bitcoin to buy what we need in this day. we can't buy with our real money. I think that day we will not go to school as you said, It's really a good idea. lol

That is not a valid point.I have come to know about various causes,things etc because there days are celebrated.I didn;t know about Valentines Day until I learnt it from TV shows that on 14th Feb Valentines day is celebrated and then I searched about it.If people are told that on xyz day is a bitcoin day,they will get curious and try and learn about it

That is a nice idea! I've never thought about that, it would be great to have a Bitcoin day. But, what day would that even be? It probably wont happen though, the community is not so large for that to happen and I don't know if anyone new would come because of that.

Don’t get me wrong it will be a useful event but at the same time not many people outside our little world will find out for that we will need the support of the press and we know we don’t have it since they have been bought by banks and other entities.

I agree declaring a bitcoin day can spread awareness but the problem is how do we get the mainstream media's to make an article about it? Maybe

they might if it becomes super popular but sorry to say as of now only a small number of us knows it. This is just an idea if ever there are 1M users

of bitcoin in the whole world and if we set a date for that bitcoin day thing. that 1m users will each make a tweet or post so we can successfully be

on the trending list on twitter and other social media sites. As always. It'll be tough to remind this 1M users that this particular day is the bitcoin day.
