Lets start from here.We do not need any international organization or body to declare Bitcoin day.We are self sufficient community.Did Satoshi ask for anyone's permission to create bitcoin? Has he waited for someone to ask him to invent bitcoin?
Why Bitcoin Day needed someone's permission then?

Sounds good to me, besides 8 years now that bitcoin being established but never heard of any to have a Bitcoin day. Perhaps, there have large groups that can implement this kind of event, it can help all over the world that bitcoin will become more popular then.

The idea was quite good, but like what others said, there should be an organizer who handle that event. But since bitcoin is not control by anyone, I think it will be difficult to apply your idea's unless if there's a big group in bitcoin community will take cover that event it will be happen.

To create an annually event like this takes a lot of funds, but all the bitcoiners would benefit from it. I think if a government would like to make such a thing they can do it, but for regular people it's impossible. But of course I'm in in case someone will find a way to create this event by efforts of the bitcoin community.

This is a great suggestion for us, especially those bitcoin enthusiasts because we can now celebrate bitcoin day and have a great specific date where we can do a lot of things like giveaways or a small contest with a small prize but the prizes don't matter because the main thing that is concern on bitcoin day is all about fun and celebration Grin

We already have it, https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/happy-8th-birthday-bitcoin-1737083
however many people still don't know, i think it's due to there is no celebration of the bitcoin's day, which is held on 3rd january. That's why we should celebrate it, like creating event, giveaway or something. And maybe sites owner giving promotion or discount at the day.
I hope it will happen.

I think Bitcoins's Day just should't be limited to casinos and gambling sites man. The aim basic is the public involvement and hence maybe some sort of flags and all should be rallied on the cities and hence people get to know whats that.
but the biggest problem is who will fund such things ? I always want to invite like members in a hotel and enjoy but money holds me back.
