do you think BTC will hit ATH this year?
No, I don't think that BTC will reach it's new ATH in this year but I think it can somehow cross its current ATH which to many people will be a new ATH. However, this bull run's best ATH won't happen in this year but in next year. After that ATH we may see another bear market.

Your quite right I think the pressure of the bull might well carry us into next year maybe untill february, bitcoin is getting even more scare since the EFT approval and the demand has drastically increased since the EFT buys about 10% of every available supply of bitcoin available, the bull has enough fuel to pump it to next year, but what I am unsure if is if the ATH would happen this year or next but I am sure that before the bear we should have a correction around the new ATH which could be up to 120k for bitcoin or 150k before the bear market comes and I think bitcoin would hardly ever return to price range of 35k or 40k if bitcoin reaches a price above 100k.

With the current price of bitcoin, we'll probably going to see another ATH before the year end but I won't hold on too much hope that it's going to last long because there's still the possibility that it's going to see a massive dump because a lot of people are going to sell their bitcoins to take profit, hopefully I'm wrong and bitcoin would go to something that not everyone of us would expect like pumping even higher. It's such a welcoming feeling that bitcoin is going up to this point even though there's not a lot of people that are expecting it to go to this point without doing a halving first, maybe if it does break the next resistance, it's going to be possible that we would see another ATH. Prepare to sell your bitcoins if you're planning to do so because there's going to be a lot of people that are going to race towards doing so and the transaction fees are going to increase much more considering there's still people that are playing with ordinals and bitcoin inscriptions.

I think we're getting into FOMO season.. rn I'm focused on accumulating quality alts, memes on Solana that'll be on my pf going into the bull run. I'm targeting some listed here https://twitter.com/CapSatoshix/status/1763508551807328688?t=6zHkehGeMKtBkDsr5jnsvA&s=19

There is no such thing as "quality" alts unless you're referring to theymos_away and even then...
Bitcoin is king - do not dabble in poor substitutes.

ATH already before this year ends? We believe in the cycle right and that should come by next year instead? While the likely of ATH before this year ends is there but I am more inclined that we might see it not this year but next year.

The halving has always been the same and consistent with its impact on the market and that's why I am timing it like less than a year before we see new ATH.

If we ever hit it whenever, I just hope that we stay on that top for so long like for a few days and won't be gone as soon as possible.

Given bitcoin reaching $64k at the end of February and trading above $60k, it shows that it has broken the history of previous cycles. And compared to the old ATH of 2021, we are very close so the possibility of breaking the old ATH and creating a new ATH this year is very high. Personally, I am optimistic that we will have new history, which means bitcoin will reach a new ATH before the halving and enter the bull season earlier than expected. The impact of the Bitcoin ETF is huge and it is working, things are changing and we need to adapt.
It sets the variation that every cycle is totally different and this time is. On 2021 bull run, the ATH was met after the halving. This time, we haven't been on the halving yet and Bitcoin is already breaking these ATH barriers and we're so close to it already.

I want to believe that ATH will happen next year but with the changes that we're experiencing, I guess that's where we have no control over. If Bitcoin will definitely going to reach and break a new ATH by the end of this year or even earlier, we can't do anything about it.

Because if it happens, it's still a favorable thing to us that are hodlers.

LOL what a joke. Cheesy

You, created this thread to know other people opinions whether the new Bitcoin ATH will happens in this year or not, but you're actually want to buy shitcoins instead of Bitcoin! then what's the point to ask a question about Bitcoin.

Even though Bitcoin can cause a big effect to shitcoins, but it's not always when Bitcoin price rise, shitcoins will follow it.

Bitcoin price has now touched above $62k and the previous ATH price was around $68k. I am sure that shortly the price of bitcoin will exceed the previous ATH level to reach a new ATH level, especially since the Bullish phase is getting closer and so will the next Halving. Therefore, although I cannot predict accurately, I am optimistic and believe that the Bitcoin price will set a new ATH record again this year.

Good action today, effectively we have put in a higher lower.  A stair step higher is a good build towards higher so if the objective of ATH is in sight we are closer to it after that pullback and resolving upwards.

As of this morning we have recaptured the 12hr average which is fast momentum upwards and even during the selling we never closed below the 2 day average so a big sell didnt occur but large enough to remove some of the sellers and weakness in BTC price action.

The range of this action since passing the 78% Fibonacci retracement of the ATH has been capped at 64k.   We're in that box or range still, be cautious till we break out of that range.   Often we can repeat range for some time bouncing off the sides but never exceeding those limits till some time has passed.  Friday today, it could be until next week we find more exciting action occurs.

That's even better because bitcoin have had climbed high now so its better to add some more from other currencies like those you mentioned but be careful to what you are investing because that might hurt your pocket if chooses the wrong one.

Yes bitcoin will hit ATH this year because now the price is 62k$ and yesterday it has touched 63k$ but now some reduction occurred and it is now 62k$ so I think it will soon hit ATH. I am assuming that as in previous years the price was 69k$ above which bitcoin has not touched any value so the current year is a better year to go more higher to cross the target of previous years.

If before halving bitcoin goes higher to the value of 69k$ so it will not be much difficult that we will see bitcoin to hit New ATH in current year. Keep waiting and don't sell bitcoin at current worth because very soon we will see huge pump as a result of coming halving.

I've watched BTC go from 23k to 52800 currently and with reports stating BTC outflows from exchanges rising to 8months HIGH, do you think BTC will hit ATH this year?
https://coinmarketcap.com/community/articles/65db377c13c6094f48999ba4/
Different opinions and predictions are circulating in the market. Some are optimistic that Bitcoin will cross the previous all-time high before the end of this year, and some say it isn't going to happen. If you ask me, I would say that we still have about 9 months for the year to end, and we can see that Bitcoin's uptrend continues with a slight delay in the middle which indicates positivity in the months to come, however, unpredictability of the market cannot be questioned on the other hand.

We are happy seeing Bitcoin heading towards $60k, a couple of days later, we might see it heading towards $40k again, that's how unpredictable this market is. So nothing can be said really, I somehow feel that it might happen, but I'm a bit worried about a healthy correction anytime soon.

Agreed that it's all speculation and nothing is certain when discussing the future but I think with what happened yesterday and bitcoin hitting the $64k. This means that the distance to the old ATH is very small so it is entirely possible that bitcoin will reach a new ATH soon this year. But the question is after bitcoin makes a new ATH, will we enter the bull season sooner as expected, or will bitcoin be dumped again?

By the way, do you think today bitcoin will break $69k and make a new ATH? Just like what bitcoin did yesterday, bitcoin skyrocketed to $64k in everyone's surprise. I will not rule out this possibility.

Currently Bitcoins are above 62k usd. So I am assuming, we will see the new ATH price in next few weeks only. We have more 10 months for this year to complete, but seeing this high pace of Bitcoins, it seems like the new ATH price will be achieved in few days only. All the long term traders and media are waiting for this moment to sell the coins and make some profits. I would suggest you to don’t panic and sell. Many have speculated that Bitcoins will easily touch 100k USD this time. Let’s see what happens next.

It could reach ATH today in theory, in practise we do not often expect such positive gains to occur without pullbacks to various prior support levels.    I think I would say now that the longer it prolongs upwards without stopping the bigger the pullback when it does occur.

The reason Im forced to be positive at the moment is we are above the 12hr average, even the minimum prices stay above that level continually.   So its a constant push upwards without relent so far.   Surely over the weekend this would abate as some of the buyers are bound to business hours during a working week only but that cant be sure as buying can be automated into programs performed by computers while people are away for a day or two.

First obvious target downside is 58k.   See how it deals with that on any break in this surge, if positive there then be optimistic on this ATH tide mark being achieved near term otherwise further consolidation would be fair after so many gains in such a short time.

I am still into this belief that ATH will be hit next year. But if the move is like this and we've just hit $60k and $61k, then everything is possible. Today, Bitcoin showed on how superior it is on the market and how volatile it can move positively. But at the same time, this also shows that it can dump as soon as possible. This is the skyrocket that we're all waiting for, no halving yet then we're so close to the past ATH that we've been. This gives the idea that we're truly going to surpass the past ATH that we've met soon. Prepare your emotions and don't forget to take profits at the peak or else you'll have to be patient again waiting for that moment for you to start enjoying those holdings that you've planned all along.

Your right we should also prepare for a sudden crash in price cause you know bitcoin can be very volatile but I rather call it a correction and I am not expecting the correction to take the price up to 10% low in price like up to 50k, just a little consolidation around.

Yes it's good we cash out at the peak but let's not forget that there are times that bitcoin price never return after a new ATH and sets stage for a new price range of bitcoin, we should expect either possibilities so let's not sell too much or all or holdings and get stranded trying to buy at a higher price or you end up using your holding's money.
Honestly, I don't think that we're on the peak yet. When that would be? I don't know but I am counting on it for next year as I still consider the cycle and patterns that it has had for the past years of these cycles. But if someone is happy to take some profits, who are we to stop them with their money and enjoyment? What we have to prepare is whatever happens for the next several months to come, this will be the accordance of every contributors of this bull run and there are many of it. $50k for the correction is possible but as said, it can also be like $40k but this is already a bull run. We may not see that kind of low but as typical on this market, expect some pull backs like that and recovery will even be quicker as everyone is just waiting for some of it and they'll never hesitate to buy it before it takes off again.

It's very possible for such outcome to happen and it's also very possible for it to fall even lower the current price of 60k, we can only speculate what would happen based on the amount of known we have available to us, but bitcoin has enough fuel of demand to proppel the price even further, many person's speculated the price to hit 60 before the month end and it did happen, we might also have a price correction back to 58k but we are now more certain that the bull run has set in and we are just a little further to 100k.

I am sure bitcoin would hit a new ATH soon but I am not sure when, it could happen even soner than expected

https://coinmarketcap.com/community/articles/65db377c13c6094f48999ba4/
With the way bitcoin performed today, I can honestly say that the chances of bitcoin reaching its previous all time high and crossing above it in a few days from now is very high, this is no longer a matter a of this year ending, like you would agree with me, this year is still very young and bitcoin is already at $60,000 dollars, if the momentum continues like this in the coming days, weeks and months, we may like see bitcoin trading above $70,000 even before half of this year, or possibly before the halving even takes place.
All the same, fingers crossed for exciting times ahead.

Yes, we are above $60k, it was not surprised though, the bulls are back and keep on pushing for a higher price for this year, or at least pre-halving. So our previous all time high are within reach in the next month or so and maybe we will surpassed it.

So exciting time again to all of us. And that's the nature of bitcoin, it's cyclical, we just need to have a lot of patience because we all know that sooner or later we will see this bull run and so that's what is happening right now. So best of luck, six digits will be our ultimate target here.
