I don't dare to speculate more on BTC but I have confidence that in June it will all come true and even a new ATH will be printed. Well, if we look at the increase in BTC in recent times it only needs another 20% increase and with that assumption it looks like what I believe is very likely to happen and there is no need to wait until the end of this year either.

do you think BTC will hit ATH this year?
No, I don't think that BTC will reach it's new ATH in this year but I think it can somehow cross its current ATH which to many people will be a new ATH. However, this bull run's best ATH won't happen in this year but in next year. After that ATH we may see another bear market.

Seen the recent price? Anything can happen imo ahah

I've watched BTC go from 23k to 52800 currently and with reports stating BTC outflows from exchanges rising to 8months HIGH, do you think BTC will hit ATH this year?
https://coinmarketcap.com/community/articles/65db377c13c6094f48999ba4/
We have been saying it since 2022 when the bear market began that we should expect bull run but mild bull run in 2023, while all-time-high in 2024 and six digits in 2025. If bear market will begin again, that would be in 2026. If you can hold bitcoin, it is better you hold. If you can still buy more, it is better to buy it now than for it to be too late.

I am very confident in saying that a new ATH will be reached within this year. I am so confident about it that I am willing to make a bet for this prediction. For me it's actually not a question whether a new ATH will be hit this year or not. The question is which month will it take place.

In fact I am seeing a new ATH very early this time. The usual thing is that the ATH will follow more than a year after the halving. This time it will just be a few months after the halving, if not before.

Probably a new ATH within the year, maybe even half. Now would that be the new ATH? Probably not. I honestly expected the price to go up only at the latter end of the year to the start of the next year so seeing it go up like this is a rather welcome surprise. It hasn't even slowed down by much and we're only at a quarter of the year, so I think there's no reason to not expect that the price would reach the current ATH by this year at the least.

The $100k expectations would probably be next year still though.
We don’t know exactly what will be the next ATH price but once we see the current price surpass the previous ATH, we can tell by then that the price is already heading to its new ATH. If not the end of this year, most probably by next year. All we have for now are just speculations in the market since we can’t hold the future of bitcoin certainly because of its high volatility.

My default answer to this is that I do not think this will happen during this year, but the price is already at 54k and we are only at February, so I would guess the chances of this happening have increased a great deal during the first two months of this year to the point it would not surprise me if it did happen, however I still stand behind my prediction as I do not think this upwards surge can continue forever, and we may even witness a correction at some point during the next months.

This are the confused set of people because of different experts prediction. If you follow the trend from the beginning then you will know when the halving will start and when the All Time High will also come but you believe in the online influencers prediction more than your personal research. Like as I said in my thread today, the bull market is currently on going but it is not yet the All Time High and the bull market will start from the month of April and the All Time High will be on the peak in the year 2025 but in the month of November and December everyone will see the all time high both those who start the investment from the year 2021 when bitcoin hit $69k.

And next the All Time High ATH [ATH] will display for all to experience. You can read this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-bull-has-started-but-not-yet-ath-5486708 for more information about the BullRun and the All Time High (ATH)

Well, based on the current price of bitcoin, it is now in the $54k–$55k range, which means if it still keeps on increasing, there will be a chance that if the bull run comes, it will surpass its current ATH, which is $69k, and the bitcoin price might set another all-time high during that halving. Well, what is the cause of the price keeping on increasing? Maybe because many more investors are participating in halving, which results in more demand for bitcoin, and we can also consider the approval of ETF so many more people can easily bring bitcoin. Truly,  what we are experiencing right now is great, and we can only be thankful because we are part of this community and we ride the sky to set that bitcoin will set. Now the question is: will those investors keep on accumulating bitcoin despite its high prices and take the risk, or will they just wait for the halving of their current holdings?

Usually, bitcoins massively move up after each halving. If you deeply observe the chart after each halving, you can notice that. So I think only two months remain for the halving, and after that, we may encounter a significant move on Bitcoin. Even before that, until today, we have seen Bitcoin pass the $54K zone, and anytime could surpass $60K. Most likely, due to ETF, we are seeing the current green market. So from my experience, we may see a new ATH at the end of this year if everything goes like previous history. Means the history should repeat for a new ATH.

And it's already 54k, closing in to the next barrier of $55k. I thought that OP is asking if we can reach ATH prior to the Halving. But if we are talking about at the end of the year. I think there is a big chance to set a new ATH and break $69k.

We all know that the block halving is the catalyst for the start of the bull run for this cycle. But I say that we shouldn't get excited, there are still a lot of times to accumulate even in bull run. So let's just wait what's going to happen this year and 2025 and what will be the top for this cycle.

I'm not sure if the market has totally changed its cycle, probably not. If we based on the 4-year cycle, we expect a new ATH next year that was 2025, 4 years from the bear season. The price of BTC is high already but it was not enough to expect a big rally nor an ATH right after halving because, in previous years, it took several months to see the impact of halving.

If we experienced the pump, we did not necessarily have to expect ATH as it normally happens in the market. We are in the bull season and we expect such a price increase but being into ATH is different.

Personally, I dont really think that we are going to see an all-time high this year, my bullrun prediction is next year to 2026, that is probably when we are going to see more than 100k$ in my opinion but for sure there are some chances that we might already break or right the all-time high next year, There was going to be a huge drop again in my opinion as we are getting near the Bitcoin Halving event I mean we could already see how the movement of the market is slowing down the upside trend cannot keep up anymore in my opinion, for sure there are still a lot of people that is going to be encouraged to invest or put their money on Bitcoin because the market price just continues to skyrocket but you might wanna think again about that.

Still, the market is just unpredictable, personally, I dont really expect for Bitcoin market price to skyrocket up to 50k$ but I guess the hype was just high already considering there are a lot of great Bitcoin news including the ETFs. For sure that could easily boost the movement in the market, still, I'm waiting for a huge correction or drop, in my opinion, it is still going to happen soon because the market is just on an uptrend in the past month we dont really see any correction yet, so probably a lot of investors and traders are already expecting this as a huge bubble.

To be honest we can't really do much than only speculate, everyone might give predictions based on how they feel and the facts available to them but we all know that bitcoin is very unpredictable and volatile, yeah it's true that with more time as things balances out I would be less volatile and more stable but in a way the best part of bitcoin might be erased, but that's by the way, your correct that the price might do a little correction but I don't think we should be expecting that untill maybe a 60k but its an assumption, bitcoin did correct sometime when it reached 45k and dropped back down to 35k, and that was caused by Grayscale massive selling, but surely we would have another price correction before or after 60k, here what I I thinking, if the price corrects now at 51k which I'm least expecting, the bull run would continue to maybe 20% that is up to 70k and if it doesn't correct and hits 60-65k then we would have a correction back to 50k and then upwards again. Nothing much just my speculation.

Outflows from exchanges if is increasing then that's a good news, as I don't have authentic info about it, but I did read somewhere that outflow is increasing, besides this outflow we should see at other factors too, to predict the sentiments of the market, if you see market going from $23k to $52k then you must have seen how market's sentiments moves, and manipulates old and new traders. Besides this, you should have the knowledge of halving, because halving is going to occur in the 2 months.

And after that BTC supply will cut to half and the we can see a big pump in the price of BTC, and plus the adoption factor, so considering all the factors I can say we might see a ATH in the end of this year but that's not for sure because no one can time the market exactly. So, only depending on one factor to time the market is not a good idea, I suggest you to seek for more factors.

Yes Bitcoin will definitely break its ATH this year. I don't think anyone would claim otherwise. It's only $15k away now. It will likely break the ATH this summer. It could come even sooner but I'm guessing we'll get a decent pullback at some point this Spring so it'll take until this summer to hit the ATH.

At this point I would be a little shocked if we don't see a new all time high by the 4th of July.  By this time next year we should be over $100K and still in accumulation mode on the way up.

Everyone would be shocked if bitcoin doesn't reach a new ATH soon, I was expecting bitcoin to reach 60k by this weekend, the price is still consolidating around 51k, no big move since then, but what can we actually do for now than to wait.

Sure BTC would surpass 100k by this year end, we have enough DEMAND to actually propelled more price increase, more investors are still jumping into bitcoin with the recent ETF approval and many persons that didn't partake in the last bull run wouldn't like to miss out on this one, so I think your right when you said bitcoin would reach above 100k this year.

This is something which most of the tenured users echoes, Even I though we might not see Bitcoin crossing $50k but there were lot of hype as well as the news of ETF approval and Bitcoin halving has brought in more money this pumping the price and I still believe there would be few correction phase before the start of Bull run. But if Bitcoin breaks ATH this year then equations may change.

The All time high for this cycle is not possible by the end of the year I can assure you that, we can hit the previous all-time high, but for the cyclical all-time high you need to wait for the 2025's really.

Many analysts are predicting that 2025 will be going to be a more bullish year compared to 2024 because fo many fundamental and political changes are going to happen in 2024, I'm also bullish for 2025, and for the new ATH, we can neglect it. putting some more words on the speculation I'm expecting an ATH of 160k+ or almost 190k by the end of the cycle. IMO people are a little bit tired because of the current market consolidation and a little boring timeline because Bitcoin making massive gains in days due to ETF's hype, anyway the current market gains are natural and good for the market maturity. The new capital is flowing into the market and again now the trust is rasiing.
