You're right, its hard to determine if the project is scam or not although there are some qualities that we can look into to prevent ourselves from joining in such project.

Paying in btc or in any listed altcoins would be better but we all know that majority of the campaigns here are paying with their token, thus to avoid our effort to go wasted we have to make an extensive research and dont just advertise any project because of their promising offer.

I don't think anyone will deliberately promote a project if he or she is aware that the project is a scam. We just need to be very careful though about being channel Admins for some projects we don't have any direct contact with the team because once the real team disappears, investors will come after you.

If we know its 100% scam then we why any hunter need do it? if at the end it becomes a scam then not hunter not investor can do anything but all must try more information as can not be scamed.

Its a bright idea my friend, this forum should implement this rule to secure bounty hunters receive token. Most of the time campaign participated is in escrow and its worthy. Token received for sure as we know if the campaign is in escrow the allocation is handed already by the BM and not the project team itself. So must prepared for escrow campaign type rules.

I also see many bounty using escrow. But we need to make sure that the project is successful and listed in the exchanges. Because if the project fails, you only get dead tokens and can't sell them

As we can see there are so many scam project scattered in the bounties section, that`s why I`m so disappointed to join bounties project paying their participants with their coins, and instead of joining that project I participated in signature campaign paying their participants using bitcoin because joining this kinds of campaign payment for our hard work are sure.

Your Idea is great hope it will helps us to fight scam project.

There is only one way that we can do to stop promoting scam project. We are not promoting any project that will release, and we don't care about every new project so they cannot launch the project and scam the people. They cannot continue the project without help from other people who promote the project unless they already have big funds that can facilitate their own project with their money. With doing this, I am sure people doesn't have to lose their money in any project, and they can allocate their money to other things.

This will be a great move to reduce or eliminate the prevalence of scam projects in the cryptocurrency space. I am of the opinion that the forum also have a lot to contribute to its execution. Its impossible for all bounty hunters to have same experience and understanding of the crytocurrency space. Newbies are significantly increasing lately and most of them don't have sufficient information to make decision regarding the promotion of ICO.

Of course, scammers need to fight everywhere and with different methods. I hope that there will be more regulatory institutions in the cryptocurrency market.

It would be great if your idea is being implemented by the project owner. Btc or usd have value while the project token don't (before get listed on exchange) so the bounty hunters will ensurely get the decent payment for their works.

There should be better ways but if you are the only one thinking this way your idea will be useless, one idea can only work if he/she has huge supporters ,many bounty hunters still doesn't care because of one reason or the other as far as the bounty payment is huge in reward they are ready to promote it

Surely, the bounty hunters will be happy if this happen.But I guess only few project manager will do this.Right now, they are getting quite free promotion through bounty hunters.And they will not be happy with your rule for sure.If the bounty hunters can be united and promises that without a cretain amount of btc payment we wont promote any project only then can happens I guess.

Yes it is difficult to stop. when the offer is so interesting from the dev project ico they will continue to promote it. Bounty hunters will indeed be difficult to stop because they will continue to promote when the Project pays.

We bounty hunters, should be aware to what campaigns that we are promoting. We should not promote campaigns that are scam because the whole cryptocurrencies are getting bad reputation from the others.

No one other than the project owner will promote a scam project knowingly. But not everyone knows which one is better and which one is not. I am talking about stop promoting scam campaign by researching more and bringing up some idea to avoid this issue.

I think bounty participants were deceived by fraudulent ICO projects. they are also not likely to follow a fraud project because they will not get any benefit from it. so I thought they were also fooled by the development team

I am looking forward to the time that bounty participants will be reckoned with again.
Things were not like thus in the past.
The whole allocation get paid to the bounty hunters, no matter their numbers, but these days, it is quite different. Even if bounty participants are thousands in number or even hundreds of thousand, they will still reduce it.
Rules have to be made and followed duly.

What you just said would be great, actually, would be perfect, but unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world. And we all know there will always be enough people to follow any rules that are presented to them, so there always be someone falling for a scam ico and big promises. Bounty isn't what it used to be, and probably it will never be again, I think we just have to face that and move on.
