As a bounty hunter you must research about a project before you get involve in there campaign, Just like and investor research before invest your time to campaign, if a project give you BTC or USD, that might be cool, but it is relative, because if the project does well, you will be at a loss, Check out Oyster pearl token as a means of comparism on bounty section.
I also like projects that pay in USDT, BTC or ETH. Those are great and reputable campaigns, but its disadvantages are very low budgets and lots of participants. In addition, not many such projects are implemented
They are creating an ico to get the funds and that means if they don't have a lot of funds to create such a big campaign. Remember you didn't know what will be the result of the ico and that will give them a lot of risk by implementing it without any sources.

...have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd...
No startup will go for this, given that large projects bounty pool ranges from 250K to 1m USD. Many of the projects and so do not like the quality and effect of the bounty programs, as it is in most cases very ineffective. And if the participants of the bounty want escrow in USD or BTC, then no one will go for it.

The underlying problem lies only in how we determine with you how project really is cool and how we can today really assume the correctness of analyzing projects as a thorough substance. I can't imagine how else can I do anything to kill a scam.

Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?
of course we can, and I've done it.
we only need to pay attention to the project and also I think it would be better if all the members in this forum help to find a project bounty or ICO scam that harms others.

My answer to this topic is yes, because no one in his or her right sense will promote scam project, but the question should be how do we know a scam project? Because oo many fake projects appears to be real.

Of course not! If the project already has the funds, they will be able to hire professionals. And then bounty hunters simply will not have a place in such an advertising campaign.

To be sure after we know that the project is then we will stop to promote it. Things are affected, not only bounty hunters but also investors who have contributed. And the admin will take action to reduce the fraud project.

Could be a good idea but unless bounty hungers stop participating in those bounties, they will keep coming up.
it is difficult to equate the perception of bounty hunters, all want to do what they think is best and do not want to lose, so they overtake each other to do it as soon as possible. could it be equated in one perception? need time and an acceptable explanation

I think that while we are not able to stop it, but by creating such conversations we are able to minimize the progress of such projects!

No, most of the people already amazed to promote all the projects even if in the future that project is a scam one. You have no power to change this.

Rating agencies are looking for solutions in order to prevent fake/scam ICOs. I personally don't take them seriously because of facts about paid advertising. Looking for signs on scam projects is not job of bounty hunter imo and investors should be very careful before investing any amount.
Yeah, most of the ico rating are just paid and biased and that's why I also don't trust them. What actually bounty hunters do? They just promote project and it is also connected. If bounty hunters don't promote a project, investor will not see it. So, I think we are responsible for losing money of investors.

I definitely go with this idea, I have really wasted too much time on fake and scammy projects which I will really want a stop. Most rating sites are second cause of this if there is a way all this will be tackled I will still come in for this topic.

I don't think it is possible for us to stop promoting scam ICOs because most of these projects are just like a can of worms, you never know until you open it. They appear to he good enough and legit that it is hard for you to spot the scam aspect. But we can reduce it be promoting only projects that have a product or a working prototype in place.

That is really nice but trust me they will never buy into that since they know what they are up to. All we could do then is to try our maximum best to do a thorough research on the projects that come on board every day to rule out the bad ones.

It's our responsibility to look deep into projects, then decide to promote if we think the project is legit. Always have it at the back of your mind that it's a two way thing, at the end, it's either the project goes well or not. If you are good with due diligence, most projects you promote should do well, my humble opinion.
