i prefer to stay away from ICOs since there are more scams than ever but as far as trading it depends on the stage of the bear market we are in, if there's opportunity of very high reward to low risk trades, then of course you'll want to make some profits but if not then i'd prefer to stay on the sidelines and wait for the market to make a shift in the sentiment and when most are screaming that BTC is dead.

Ofcourse dropping of bitcoin and ethereum is an opportunity buy for long term hold cheapest value become to expensive value again after the bear market.
There was a time those people losing their hope and faith because of long time worse low value of both coin but the reason to quit and sell the investment, just stay calm and relax and also investing in icos as great opportunity to earn profits but need to learn the legality of the project.

The exact opposite is true, ICOs are not flying in a besr market as several people already pointed out. The only people celebrating and drinking champagne are the ICO teams, everyone else got wrecked this year so far.

if you consider that market will rise from here then ideally it is the right time to buy it because being market down means you can get at very low rate and once the rise happens your value of coins will rise thus you can make money from it.

Exactly, everything is very risky when this stage appears, most ico projects do not have enough capital to run and complete the project, investors have fled and stopped investing, the conditions are quite bad for a successful project. For quick profit, it is not a good idea, as most coins go below ICO price once it hits the exchange.

Yes, it is good because if you find potential in the project then it is always good to invest in the ICO, but before that, we have to check what was the ETH price they set at the time of ICO, according to that we have to invest.
To buy coins at the good price and to wait for them growth. If the coin has grown, then it needs to be sold. It is the simple scheme. To play in the bear markets experience is necessary.
In this period of bear, I prefer to invest in stable and promising coin than in ico because this coin have established themselves in the crypto community than icos that are just building up and trying to get the attention of investors and some will not even survive the bear. If I invest in stable coin, I am sure when the market recover, the price of the coin will also rise but icos will still take long time before it will end.
Even bear market I've invested in Origo and want to invest in CertiK and QuickX - good projects that all we need but it's risky so DYOR. I know that high risk = high profits.
