I understand the area of op post. I think also that free spin is difficult for me to win big. Sometime I got free spin to play but I couldn't win after the first fraction of mbtc win. I have some chance to play 3 times and reduced the staking to lower my risk but that didn't safe me after I was happy winning first spin. I think free spin is not always lucky for me.

It's possible but I have not done it yet. All my free spins before were unlucky and I don't want to stay on that kind of hobby where you are just waiting to be given freebies, I'd rather deposit and play the game and try my luck.
The difference is you are more careful when it's your money that is on the line.
