I love his confidence, Argentina was scared of his confidence because they never believed France would be able score 3 goals. If not for the sake of time it would have been easy for France to score more goals, because mbappe was ready to score more goals , he was the strength of France.

Di Maria couldn't play anymore, he was exhausted. Actually, the whole argentinian team was. They have played too intensively the first time. And the age of players like Di Maria become a heavy burden as the time goes by.
Do you that assuming the match France defeated Argentina it should be as results of coach of Argentina error of making a wrong substitution, because assuming that Di Maria was still in the pitch that means the chance of Argentina to win the match without passing this difficult way, because it was noticable that di maria immediately it was substitute it gives chance to France to penetrate to Argentina, so di maria played well and it was not exhausted when they substitute him, it's a coach decision.
