Important: Please Note  
Updating to this new version is mandatory. All users must download this update to avoid the risk of losing CannabisCoin or inadvertently connecting to an incorrect chain.

With this update, we can now get back on track and move forward with the project as originally planned.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time, especially so soon after the release. As you may know, such issues can arise unexpectedly, and we have worked diligently to keep the community informed and resolve the situation.

Important Update Instructions:
- Please ensure you update to the new version. You will need to download the latest wallet and the NEW bootstrap. Failing to do so may result in connecting to the wrong chain, leading to potential loss of mining rewards and other transactions.

Key Updates:
- Added dev fee 2 to support the new owner.
- Integrated and activated Dark Gravity Wave 3 (DGW3).
- Banned old nodes (all nodes prior to version 70020).
- Adjusted block time from 42 seconds to 90 seconds (1.5 minutes).
- Banned the old developer address.

Steps to Update to Version 0.14.3:
1. Download cannabis-qt.zip and extract the wallet files.
2. If installed in a standard location, navigate to your AppData Roaming folder and back up your wallet.dat file.
3. Download the bootstrap from one of the links provided above and extract the files into the CannabisCoin folder located in your AppData Roaming directory.
4. Ensure your wallet.dat file and the two folders from the bootstrap are in your CannabisCoin folder.
5. Start the newly extracted cannabiscoin-qt.exe from Step 1.
6. The wallet will now resynchronize with the bootstrap, and everything should operate smoothly.

We are approaching a significant milestone for CannabisCoin. In approximately 300 blocks, at block 7,175,000, the new fork will be activated. At this point, older wallet versions (v0.13.2 and below) will no longer be supported, and transactions from these versions will be rejected by the network.

To ensure the security of your CannabisCoins and avoid any potential issues, we strongly advise everyone to update to the latest version of the wallet (v0.14.2) before the fork takes place.

I will do what I can to bring back this project; I've made it a personal mission of mine. I've fallen into hard times, used to have millions of these coins, now less than 1m. Accumulating as able. Hoping to find ability to jump in at 1 sat floor while the opportunity still presents itself. I find this project to be a hardy endeavor, a lasting testimony & a cunning pursuit to prove, to the world, that nothing is as powerful as an idea whos' time has come! This is true in $CANN! It has lasted the tests of time! It is nearly a decade old! THIS is astounding. Fantastic! I'd say it's truly a worthwhile project, that is still working, and continuing developments for.

Coin has legit been in operation for well over half a decade. Still stands today.

Scams pump the hardest? LOL, jk, kinda sorta... But for real. The project has viable potential, even yet untapped potential. It just needs a bit of love and "elbow grease", tehe.

why did https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ remove the block explorer?

This coin was pure manipulation in the sphere of alt coins in cannabis. Thai Doan, pre-mined and dumped coins on this community. This coin could use a maltego audit of the blockchain again in 2022, it would be quite interesting. Do not waste your time investing anything in this coin unless you plan to fork and take over this project and work to clean up the chain of previous fraud.

I have been following this project on/off for many years. I just bought some on Frei at 1 sat. Is there a working block explorer? How goes the project?!

I suppose Coingecko & CMC would need to be notified of a takeover, they would need to update the github. If the "cann team" is going to ignore the community and refuse to engage us, what is even the point? If I don't see some effort or appearances by the "cann team" then I will be pushing for & supporting a community takeover.

Can someone just please take over this project !!! What will it take?

An explorer needs to be setup here or FreiExchange will remove the CANN/BTC market, I strongly suggest someone from the CANN team get one setup
