Is D9 still alive? He hasn't posted a new video with himself in it on youtube in the last 5 months. https://www.youtube.com/user/CannabisCoin/videos

One thing for sure is that @YESWECANN started this moderated thread.

I wonder if the stuff Jyri Hovila did in this messaged would help determine who @YESWECANN is?

Oh dear...

There's no mystery at all. ∆9 broke BCT's rules and cross-posted in a Spanish language thread, so BCT suspended his account. YESWECANN was established by the team during his enforced absence. It's published on this thread for anyone who bothers to look (and who isn't called James, apparently) exactly who uses the account. Given that they are members of what we might call the "inner council" it is hardly relevant which of them is seated at the keyboard at any given moment.  Roll Eyes

Is this B4zz4 posting under this account? Can you confirm?

It's very difficult to differentiate who is posting under this account "YESWECANN". Can we get a list of users whom "may" or "may not" post on the YESWECANN account from time to time if being shared by multiple individuals. Are we to understand this account is affiliated directly to CANN and those who participate on backend development?

Thanks,

-James

No Jamie, unlike you I only have one account. If it says B4zz4 then it's likely to be me, otherwise not.

Edit - actually your constant feigning of confusion is getting old too. It's been posted before:

This YESWECANN account is used by two to three people at given times.  It includes DeltaNine, ChinoGreen, and Me, "Heather". ...

Now, ∆9 always signs his mod account posts with "~D9" or "~DeltaNine", surely you've seen that. Is it important to know whether a CannTeam post is made by ChinoGreen or Heather? Hardly matters, does it.

In the past you have even accused me of being ∆9. As flattering as that might be to me it gets you nowhere except seen as a dill.

Sorry for the dumb question. I was kinda asking to understand the business model. Am I to understand there isn't one or are you seeking to be registered as a charity? Sorry to be blunt, I certainly don't mean to offend.

Thanks again.

To clarify, I'm not involved. I'm just an Aussie supporter.

As far as the business model is concerned ∆9 has a number of grow sites with various portions devoted to commercial and CANNdy production. I would assume other growers who have and are joining the movement would similarly devote some portion in the same way other farmers dedicate some cropping effort to food banks, for example.

As far as dispensaries go, from the OP:

Quote
This movement is a way for dispensaries and shop owners to show their appreciation to their patients by donating some medication into the “CANNdy” inventory.

The movement is about gifting medical marijuana supply and CANN is about facilitating access to that supply.

Charitable status, I don't know. I don't think food bank farmers go for charitable status, do they? I do know that some U.S. of A. states require dispensaries to be non-profit and some of those must by law grow their own product.

Business model? Basically the Yes We CANN movement is in the business of giving.

As far as people buying into CannabisCoin in a big way I believe that is based on entirely different economics.

  • It is viewed as unlikely the Feds will reclassify marijuana anytime soon.
  • Banks will continue to be too afraid to provide financial services to marijuana businesses.
  • Dispensaries already accepting CANN for CANNdy already have the infrastructure to handle cashless transactions via CANN.
  • Arizona (and other States) will likely be legal recreational sometime in 2016.
  • To avoid choking on cash CANN will become a preferred medium of trade for recreational mj purchases at market rates.
  • CANN will therefore rise towards parity pricing.

I believe that is what drives the view CannabisCoin will rise a great deal in value.

So the "pegging" of 1 $CANN per 1 gram of Canndy is based on potential donations from other growers as well as a proportion of D9's crops, and you're not sure how crops are exchanged to the dealer for CANN and in turn how Canndy is exchanged to dealers for absolutely no reveneue at all? What does all this that mean exactly? Guys I'd like to invest but I'm having some trouble finding out exactly what I'm investing in. Speak to me like I'm 5 years old. Thanks again.

Take the time to read the postings, its your choice whether or not to invest so do as you wish.  If this is too confusing for you then move on.  You are clearly showing your position here in this forum.

Have a good weekend.  Spend it with family and friends!

Anything could happen! CANN might have locations all over the world supplying CANN for CANNdy. It could be all over like starbucks. Everything is really early. It's too early to know whats going to happen.

LOL! Thanks for the insight. Can you please let B4zz4 answer? There's a reason I'm asking what I'm asking, and how I'm asking. Thank you.

Fact is, 1 $CANN pegged to gram of Canndy is a pretty big statement at current prices. It would be good for everyone to understand exactly what that means. Let's cover that first before we get into anything else atm.

So how do the "donors" get compensated for their donation then?

Umm... it's a donation - you know, that good thing you do for nothing more than the good feeling of helping someone in need. What greater "compensation" can there be?

I've gotta be honest. I don't get it. So the dispensary donates weed (not Canndy), to CANN? Which then CANN donates back to distributors (Canndy or otherwise) to trade in for $CANN?

Yeah, you're not getting it Smiley

It is ALL about mmj patients and getting supply to them. ∆9 is a man on a mission to supply quality medical marijuana to mmj patients at a reasonable price. CANN exists to facilitate that transaction.

Dispensaries can donate medical marijuana into the CANNdy supply, as can growers. The CANNdy is available to mmj patients at the pegged rate of 1 CANN = 1 gram.

So how do the "donors" get compensated for their donation then?
