I'm guessing it's mostly to prevent the forum getting attacked by spam bots and to keep clutter from real newbies posting the same questions in other sections of the forum
IMHO this limit may have some sense - ie posting 5 stupid posts...

can't wait to start posting where my interest go...

Well you haven't got the newbie tag anymroe perhaps logging out and back in might fix it
