Do I have to be verified or something, there's some interesting posts I've seen from twitter but I have no way of replying, it's kind of annoying if you can't get verified within like 12 hours of signing up?

I am experiencing that problem now but here in newbie post i can post replies really weird.
You need to have 5 posts and stay on for 4 hours to post or reply on topics outside of the Newbie area.
Hope so too, I like the forum and must follow the guidelines.
Why is it neccessary to make posts in unread sections of this forum to become a member that is allowed to post everywhere?

hope that's sarcasm, it's pretty easy to beat, make a few accounts,
automate posting to the newbie forum, then open up a load of seperate browser sessions with an auto fresh tools like I am now so I can rack up the hours needs.
If anything it just a way of deterring genuine forum users from using their accounts because lets be honest, locked into one lame 'newbie' board for 4 hours is just dumb as fuck and defeats the purpose of forums in general
