You guys are saying I cant not send because i have the legacy format of BCH. Witch i guess is ok for now not hurting anything.
The converter is simply a website service that allows you to convert one Bitcoin Cash address format to another... in this case, you can put a "CashAddr" formatted Bitcoin Cash address (ie. the address that starts "qz" or "bitcoincash:qz") in to the converter and it will allow you to see what the "legacy" address is (ie. the address that starts with a "1").
What you need to realise is that the "qz" address you are trying to send to, and the "1" address that the converter will give you... are THE SAME ADDRESS! They're just written in a different way. For instance:
Format One - "One thousand, Two Hundred and Fifty Eight"
Format Two - 1258
They both represent exactly the same thing, but are just written in different ways...
CashAddr Format - bitcoincash:qpqpphwp2fw2zcjtcptv83gcfnqj2f00r5l96xn7dz
Legacy Format - 16qkTAUmtCdBYfXXKKGKqD8pAYtL1T5pqV
Any BCH sent to either of those addresses will end up in exactly the same place... as they are the same address and are controlled by the same private key!
Did you try following the directions posted earlier?
1. Copy/paste the "qz" address into https://cashaddr.bitcoincash.org/
2. Click "convert" button
3. Click the "Legacy" tab
4. You will see the "Legacy" Bitcoin Cash address (it starts with a "1"). This address is the SAME DESTINATION as the "qz" address.
5. You can put the "1" address into the "Send" box of "Ledger Wallet Bitcoin" Chrome app when you are trying to send BCH.
