Edit I found the answer.  Looks like I only have to delegate and I can close my wallet and check back after a few epochs.

As I got what they  said we need to wait for the next release of Daedalus which "will include a dedicated “Redeem Incentivized Testnet rewards feature, so there is no need to restore ITN reward wallet using 2.0.1  version. Restoring in 2.0.1 may be not harmful at all but IMO it’s better  to be patient, it won’t run away from us.

Maybe it's better to wait. I just saw video of somebody who said it's possible to claim ITN by restoring wallet. But I didn't try it. I don't have ITN rewards..
So in this case I can't definitely recommend something.

Also ITN rewards will be distributed
Shelley testnet - no (It was possible with faucet to get hundreds of thousands of test ADA, I also took part in testing)

I understood this too, from @LGBX article posted. But now I wonder what Jake (the author) wanted to say with the 2nd point highlighted also by LGBX.

->> 2. Rewards earned from delegating on Daedalus Shelley Testnet are not redeemable and was intended for testing purposes only.

Read this: https://iohk.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/900001979086-ITN-Rewards-When-and-How-to-Redeem

"Important points to consider:

1. Users running Daedalus 2.0.1 are not yet able to redeem ITN rewards at this time.
2. Rewards earned from delegating on Daedalus Shelley Testnet are not redeemable and was intended for testing purposes only. "

Looks like from delegating you can't redeem the rewards, only from staking on your own.

I'm also confused, because today I can't make a claim. Is it possible that it will progress gradually? if so are there any further details? I just make sure if there is something wrong and hope there will be an answer that can help.

Did you try to restore your wallet on new Daedalus?
It seems it should work, I've seen the guides around

So we need to restore ITN rewards wallet on the new Daedalus?
I thought there will be a feature in the wallet dedicated for this, at least this is what I understand from here: https://forum.cardano.org/t/the-shelley-hard-fork-all-you-need-to-know/36553

Kind of confusing, imo.

Tomorrow you can claim them
Please see this chart, it's indicated there - August 3

Today August 5 but no way to claim it via Daedalus 2.01. Why so many "stake snapshots" shown by the chart? Does it mean that every following  epoch will start first with the snapshot of the whole blockchain  and if I move my ADA from the wallet during particular epoch they will be accounted despite this?

Once Daedalus wallet is lauched you will be able to see a new feature called Redeem Incentivized Testnet rewards which will allow you to to claim the rewards for the ITN and transfer them to the Cardano mainnet.

Looks like there is no "Redeem Incentivized Testnet" feature in the Daedalus wallet, I just downloaded/upgraded. Is yet to be released? or is something I miss, as I can't find the feature.

Cardano temporarily stuck on exchanges. Why and what is a possible solution?

If you follow the news from the Cardano ecosystem, you know that hardfork (Shelley phase) happened on 29 July. Since then and up to this date most of these exchanges disabled both Deposits and Withdrawals, it means they didn't implement the hardfork changes yet

Anyway... Do you guys have any idea when the ITN rewards will be distributed on the mainnet? I have a bag..

Tomorrow you can claim them
Please see this chart, it's indicated there - August 3

Awesome, thanks a lot! Is there a guide on how to claim ITN rewards or is something you can do straight forward in Daedalus mainnet wallet?

Cardano (ADA) With 623+ Stake Pools towards achieving the 1,000 Pools Target to be The Most Decentralized

It is not possible to earn rewards from Stake pools while Cardano are moving towards a fully decentralized network.  First off, it is important to know how to download Daedelus before staking to one or more of the pools. It is also important to know when it will be possible to get rewards.

Hi Guys,

I have a simple question about ADA staking, do i need to keep my wallet open to stake?

I've used the search options, but searching on bitcointalk.org is not working great.

Thanks

No, you don't to keep you wallet open
You just need to delegate and that's it
Then you can check from time to time your rewards and how your selected pool is performing (i.e. you might wish to re-delegate later)
