I want to pose a question that I believe is quite expensive for many of us here, and it's a dilemma most of us can relate to. We all know that gambling is a game where we put our luck to the test. However, there's a crucial moment in every gambler's journey. the moment when you hit that big win. Do you cash out and savor your victory, or do you continue playing in hopes of even bigger winnings?

I've often wondered how many of us can truly stop playing when we are ahead. It's a challenge because the allure of winning more can be irresistible. I've witnessed situations where a friend deposited money into a casino, faced losses, and just when he was on the brink of frustration, he struck a significant win. Did he stop playing? No, he left his winnings in the casino, only to lose it all again.
So, I ask you all, what would you do when you finally make that big win? Would you cash out immediately to enjoy your winnings, or would you keep playing in the hopes of an even more substantial prize? Shocked

If i get you correctly you are referring to an instance whereby after making lots of losses then you finally won big either to call it a quit? Or continue gambling.

To me it depends on individual interest as sometimes you might want to quit and again you will remember how you made it big with just a little stake despite your initial losses.

One can still decide to continue gambling but shouldn't be attracted to the money won and should not take because you won big then you start staking big as this might result to losing all the money you won within a blink of an eye.

There are several cases that are often encountered, especially by online gambling friends, which are quite difficult in terms of self-control. There are times when after making a big profit, my friend actually increases the bet and for me this is a gamble with a higher risk, but if you are lucky, the results can be bigger than the first profit. I agree to suggest a system of self-control when you have won. Awareness of the greater risk if you continue betting and forget to leave the casino.
The most frequently encountered case is self-control, where gamblers who have won cannot stop gambling. They become greedy and want a bigger win so they continue gambling. They don't think that what they have is luck that not many gamblers can get and they are not satisfied with what they have. If they realized that they had to stop gambling immediately with the winnings they had won, they would do it immediately.

So if we later win from gambling and it is a big win, we must be able to remember that and immediately decide to withdraw the winnings and stop gambling as soon as possible. We can't always win in the next round because it depends on our luck, analysis and others. So while we still have time to stop and withdraw the winnings, we must do it immediately.

We have other time to play gambling so we do not have to play more after winning.

Do you cash out and savor your victory, or do you continue playing in hopes of even bigger winnings?
So far gambling is concern there are gamblers who doesn't like to cash out there winings because
Of there method of gambling, however they believe that the higher the amount the bigger there account will become, which is not actually good because there could be a chance you loss all the winings if not cashing out some of the money.

Cashing out is a very important measure to consider because it brings your mindset to order and easily realize yourself if you are over gambling, so in as much as we would like to keep our winings on gambling platform we should consider removing some of the money and save it if should in case you lose the remaining once on gambling platform.

So for me i use to cash out any amount I win so that I will not be tempted to gamble with all the money.
Not cashing out? Yes, that is a strategy, but is it a wise one? Let me tell you, out of all the people I've encountered in the world of online gambling, which are the wise ones? They cash out. They cash out since they are aware that it could be disastrous to keep all of their profits in the game. You're entirely right when it comes to the mindset. When it comes to cashing out, control is more important than money. It's all about understanding when to say, "I'm taking my winnings, and I've had my fun." It concerns self-control. And self-control? It's what makes the victors different from the losers. Your approach? Cashing out every win? Excellent. It's a tactic that resists temptation. And temptation, in the world of gambling, is everywhere.  Thus, carry on with your work and never forget to play smart

There are some gamblers who apply a winning limit system. I have mentioned it here. Indeed, the most basic equation is self-control, a gambler who knows when to get out and enjoy the profits.

There's a saying in gambling that we should quit while we're ahead. Sometimes we can, and sometimes we can't. I think that's normal for gamblers. Sometimes, we don't know when to stop, especially if we aren't satisfied with our winnings. It all boils down to contentment, and some of us play without a clear goal, such as a specific winning amount. This can make it very difficult for us to stop.

Additionally, some might be unrealistic, starting with a small amount like $10 but only willing to stop if they reach $1,000. That's quite a substantial goal, and due to this unrealistic approach, we often end up losing in the long run. The best approach is to consider gambling as pure entertainment. If we do that, we're fully aware that we'll experience more losses than wins. However, what's more important is that we're entertained, as that's the primary purpose of gambling for fun.

Best thing to do is to take a pause and allot money if you are wanting to play again. If greed will only be the factor to keep you playing then that would be the time where you would be problematic as a gambler. Luck itself won’t take place in a daily basis so better seek for assurance with our winnings. Of course emotions would be there which could give us feelings of “trying and making it bigger”. However, it is given that this is a game of chances; not because you won big time, it would guarantee continuous winning bets. Well in some instances this happens, but to majority it does not. You’d just end up with regrets from not securing your winnings if ever fate flips its way around. Better to have a mindset that you already have it and making it bigger should come the other day.

It's all about self-control when we get a big win whether we're going to share it or even bet with a bigger value because lust or greed has mastered us this kind of incident that I often see from some gamblers they can't control themselves when they win or lose only some gamblers can control themselves when they win, but it all goes back to ourselves how we manage the emotions that are in ourselves.

After all, not every round will give victory even though many get a big win but this is not certain to happen to every gambler who plays, right with what you think the mindset they should have when gambling when they lose they have to think about other things instead of gambling again instead of the big win that will be obtained, when they win they have to think about taking all the winnings instead of playing again by increasing the value of the bet This is what is called greed even though they have won but still feel dissatisfied with what is clearly obtained. So in conclusion I think if they can control themselves when they get a win or loss.
Yes, it would really be that totally depend on certains preference or target on which we do know that each person does have that their own threshold when it comes to winning amount on which
they would really be stopping after hitting it up which most likely that people who do able to win up will really that continuing to play and look and seek for more winning which it is really just that a normal approach for someone to make and this is really that normal and this what makes gambling industry becomes so profitable just because majority of gamblers does have this kind of behavior
on which people would really be that becomes impulsive and greed do really kicks in on which this is something that really happens on this particular moment.

In my case then i cant really be sure if i would really be able to stop yet there are really that moments which emotions and mindset will really be agreeing into each other for you to make
out some further betting even on the time that you do make out some big wins on your gambling activity.

That's right, on the other hand, many people run out of money because of gambling and on the other hand gambling companies certainly get a lot of profit by running out of money for meain who are addicted to gambling. With the many advertisements they put on the internet instead of easy to get a big win and some also give a little bonus after they play, but this in my opinion does not rule out the possibility of making them win because this is just a slogan they use so that people play with high ego so that they can unconsciously spend all their money on gambling.

Yes I also think so, don't look far at people but I myself also think it will be difficult to stop when I have gambled why is that, because I have a high curiosity but not only me it seems that other people are also like this, it's hard to play gambling just for fun I salute the people out there who can gamble just for entertainment not more than that let alone not making gambling the main income in life.

If I could get the chance to win a big win, I would immediately cash out the winnings without waiting a long time. Getting a big win is rare for many people so if we can get it, we should be able to withdraw the money and leave that casino. It doesn't take long to enjoy the winnings and take a break from gambling. I don't want to continue gambling because I have already received a big bonus so it's time to rest.
Of course, winning big sum of money is the main target that owned by any bettors. It sounds non sense if we are winning huge amounts of money and we are not taking it than gambling it again to face a lost for our money.
Any gamblers shall not be greedy. If we are getting big amounts of money just cash it out. We can't predict the future accurately. It seems like that everything is still remain unkwnown.

We can also suffer another lose that make our money become zero. In fact, even some gamblers keep going all in when they have been winning the jackpot. We shall use our sense in this case to make sure we will not waste opportunity.

So, I ask you all, what would you do when you finally make that big win? Would you cash out immediately to enjoy your winnings, or would you keep playing in the hopes of an even more substantial prize? Shocked
Without a doubt when a person has been doing badly during their current session and suddenly their luck changes for the better it is very difficult for that person to stop, and instead they will keep gambling hoping for their luck to remain the same, but this hardly happens and they lose all those profits and maybe a little bit more, so as hard as it may be gamblers need to learn to be happy when they get a big win and stop gambling for some time, otherwise they will regret their decision and instead of enjoying their time gambling they will be mad about what happened, and in that case why gamble at all? Since in that case you are not getting any kind of entertainment out of the activity and you are just getting frustrated because of it.
This is because such thing that it is better not to leave your already won balance in a casino to avoid the temptations of continuing gambling at some point,  this is because,  even the cash out that we are talking about is already assumed to be part of your winnings, even though there still be the possibility of you losing the entire amount if the result of the game changes against you on the long run.
So if you ask me, I will say, that the cashout feature is the best too to catch profits, even though the profits have not yet reached 100% to avoid losing all while trying to reach the maximum amount in winning.
If ever im on the situation on which i have won some significant amount then i would really be securing my capital or simply 50% withdrawal with the amount won then those amounts would be used whether it would be buying up something as a form of reward to myself like buying some gadget if ever the amount won is big so that if ever i do have lost the other 50% then i wont really be having that kind of regret because i have already secured something. So far i havent really that able to win up that big but when it comes to behavior then im always like this on which if ever there are some winnings then 50% would really be withdrawn and the other half would really be continue to play until it would bust up. It is really just that a matter of control and discipline because if you do let your greedy that pops out and tolerate it out then you would really be having that
kind of bad decisions which it would be causing for those winnings to be put or given back again in the house or casino itself.

Majority will fail but there are really people who could really be able to take control of themselves and this is why we would really be seeing different conditions and outcomes basing up into their personal choices.
If you dont like on messing up your life then you should really be wise on taking up the decision but if not then you do know on what you should gonna do. It isnt really that hard
to make out some decisions which you do see that it would really be that beneficial for you.

I gamble on a strict daily limit rule of x amount lost or y amount won. You can swap x and y for your own individual daily gambling limit. It can be 100 dollars or 1 dollar or less. So if I win a certain amount or above then I consider myself lucky and done for the day and thereby cash out. And those are good days, indeed.

Same goes for if I lose a certain amount of money. Its a bit sadder of a day, but at least I am not bankrupt or completely broke at the end of the day with no money to buy tomorrows lunch with...

I also do not gamble on emotions. Hope is an emotion.

Of course it's better to be grateful for what we've got, responsible and non-obsessed gamblers always do it that way, just like your experience is exactly the same. Whatever the amount of their winnings, even if it's only 50% of the amount of capital they brought, they will still withdraw it and then withdraw it to enjoy. That is really much better than you continue to look for bigger wins, basically someone's greed will never end and even though you have gotten a big enough win I'm sure in that condition you will again assume and think about continuing to play to get a much bigger win than before. Greed will never end and usually always ends up with something worse.

Have you seen sporty bets analyst make sports predictions? Most of them hardly believe that bet is not something you can control, what will happen is going to happen and should not be count as luck but performance result. I have seen gambler take risk to bet huge some of money and instead of them to cashout 80%-90% of the bets to completion, they will not cashout, not untill they see the final result before they withdraw and many times I have seen such type of bets wasted as loss and some won. I don't know why they have such kind of confidence or they are trying to prove a point where there is none.

I don't know if I should called such actions greed because if it's money, some of them has legitimately made huge money from gambling and are doing fine because if you see the amount they stake in betting, if some gamblers see such amount, they might even quit gambling because it's really big amount to gain more bigger amounts and that's what I think they can afford to lose.

Quote
Coming in with the intention to have fun and make withdrawals if we are lucky with getting lucky regardless of the amount is better. I say it's not a real win if you can't enjoy the winnings. Yes it seems that you are too serious and too carried away my friend, it is like that if you are too serious then without realizing it you are very likely to fall into the trap of addiction. Right, so the point is whatever the amount of your winnings you better enjoy it, it's better to prevent than treat because it's just a matter of luck.

Every gambler has their ways of getting satisfaction, I will cashout and withdraw if opportunity arises even if I play for fun or play for money, it's better to be at safe zone than having nothing at all. As you said about luck, we can't deny that because there are some games you play and win some amount you never expected and some comes moderate and some come with lost, we must appreciate in opportunity we have when gambling and try again for better luck if we are yet to meet the target that we want.

I think it is a bad technique to start gambling like this. If you won a good amount it is best you quit gambling for that day. Going out on the process of betting is a good habit for a gambler, but sure there are sometimes when continue betting could also come in but usually by a smaller margin that the difference in the cash out. Cashing out is helpful it will save you from loss more than it will hurt because you do not play a game you feel you would win. Most persons wont cash out they win continue to gamble all the money they have won until they can't afford to risk anymore by then the money left with them is actually lower than the money they won, even they might go home with nothing left.

The best option is to withdraw the money from the gambling site because usually after we win the big win the next round will be very bad and maybe we will end up spending all our money. I like playing slots, when I get a big win on a slot machine I usually withdraw the winnings and leave a small balance. But if I don't withdraw money, I will move to another slot machine and play with smaller bets so as not to waste money. If I feel the spin is really bad then I will go out and withdraw my money because maybe my luck has run out

However, my advice is to withdraw all the money and play again in the next few days. If we continue playing, greed will usually emerge and this will make things worse because the winnings could run out again.

Ideally, my answer to this question would be that the gambler should cash out and go home. It seems like the perfectly normal thing to do however for me I would keep playing. Since I have been lucky so far I may have a bigger look so to keep playing would be what would make logical sense for me. I will willingly accept the risk that is involved in keeping playing and be fine with the outcome. Please note that I'll do this for games were I have experience in and I am familiar with. For unfamiliar games where I win at first play, I'll withdraw the winnings and leave.
Well, that's quite risky, as you said, but you do have a point. If you know yourself, you are in luck, and you are a bit of an expert in your games, then it's worth the risk. But also, I don't recommend this mindset if the readers of this comment see it because not all have the same scenario as you've said. My best advice is that, just like what I do in trading, I do it in gambling. For example, if I set a stop-loss and take-profit indicator in gambling, whenever I reach either of these indicators, I'll take what it is, either lose or win. With that, I'm confident to say that I can minimise my losses while gaining more from gambling. You see, gambling is very fun. I treat this as my entertainment and, at the same time, my investment aside from trading.

Well some persons gamble for fun. If that's the case they are aware that there’s no mindset of winning or losing so they just keep having fun losing all the money at least it’s entertaining to them.
That's how they determined they are to gamble for fun only. They wouldn't mind how much they've made and how much they've lost already. The point is to gamble until everything is gone and that's how they're having fun through gambling. While many gamblers are aiming to at least get some decent wins and profits, they are the lucky ones who don't really bother losing them all again. If I am that gambler and have won enough already, I'll start to go over with my wins and will take it back and withdraw them immediately. But I also do get that nerve and understand that if ever they are having fun and just want to continue what they're doing, they'll just have to continue their bets even without taking out their profits.

If I can breakeven or win back some of the lost money, there is no way am going to give back the winnings to the house when I didn't get it right the first time, tbh just don't push your luck!!
This is the wisest thing to do, you'll keep that safe and you don't want the house to take it back from you. Since you've just recovered, forget about the fun and entertainment they say and like the most known meme, "shut up and take my money" but in our version, "shut up and I'll take my money". LOL

Can't you share it instead of getting confused?
If I have won gambling, and I still want to play, then just share the results. I don't know what the percentage is. But if it were me, I would withdraw at least 70% of the money for cash out and the rest in case I wanted to gamble again. Because usually when we get a good or high win, usually we will often lose the next time. Even though this isn't certain, wouldn't it be safer if we cashed out first? So we don't need to be that stressed the next time we lose. Because we have cashed out and enjoyed the results. Believe me, money management at moments like this is very necessary and don't get carried away by emotions that we will win again in the future by placing higher bets. Don't!

Greed is something that should be taken out of the equation for us to become regular winners, & if you get the option to cashout with a decent profit I will advise you to take it because these games change so fast such that a winning bet can turn to a losing one in a blink of an eye and you will not only lose out on the small profits but the stake too.

I've often wondered how many of us can truly stop playing when we are ahead. It's a challenge because the allure of winning more can be irresistible. If I can breakeven or win back some of the lost money, there is no way am going to give back the winnings to the house when I didn't get it right the first time, tbh just don't push your luck!!

Shocked

The time test quote "ypu have to know when to hold them and when to fold the.".  The problem with most gamblers is they can't accept a losing day and Chace bad money with good money.  Just accept a loss and live for another day.  Best way to run that way is to set limits both on upside and downside and a walk away point.  Either that or a time constraint.  Stick by it either way helps navigate greed related betting.

When you are winning in gambling, you will always find it intriguing, and quitting gambling will never be easy. Sometimes it's best to be content with what you have because, if you're greedy and you want more, you are risking losing the little you've already won. I am aware that it might be hard to quit gambling when winning. You'll constantly want to play more games hoping to keep on winning, but thing's don't work that way sometime's. I've witnessed a number of people losing the money they had previously won just by continuing to gamble after they were suppose to quit.
