Moderators are being paid for that job but usually, if you are talking with big casinos the moderators are part of the team so it will be hard for you to get that job.

Some gambling site didn’t allow the chat box, its rare to see such gambling site. If you are looking for a job as a moderator and have an experience doing that, you can try on bounty sections and apply as telegram moderator.

Crypto moderators do not get paid much because their workload is different compared to fiat gambling websites. I know that moderators on fiat casinos do support tickets and can earn 25-30k usd annually but they do not just talk to members on the website but response to support tickets and is a full time job. Crypto websites probably do not have the traffic to offer it as a full time job.

A month ago Betfury was searching for moderators: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.57390040...

I guess you can still contact @Steve_Betfury in Telegram and ask him is there some free spot! Of course, before that check the link and requirements!

You are asking about the payckech:

Quote
Advantages of being a moderator in the BetFury chat:
-Working in a prosperous company with a potential to grow
-A nice salary which is going to increase with time and when great results are shown
-A big friendly team who is always open to help and answer the questions
-Potential bonuses in BFG and USD for a good level of results(in case the workload is high and you cope with the work greatly)

It's probably similar in other casinos, but before asking for a paycheck you need to have something to offer! I guess more you have to offer (different languages, other skills...) you can have a nice paycheck and if you are good maybe that paycheck can grow!

I'm going to see, thanks friend.

If you do not work at the moment then try to offer their services to various casinos. Often right on the site you can find a link to Discord, Twitter, Telegram and other channels where you can find out who to contact about employment. If you have no experience in moderating then take any job to get your first experience. The first job may bring you much less than $300 but it will open the door to a higher paying job.

At the moment I do not have a job where I have to meet a schedule so I could dedicate the time required to moderate a chat, I will take into account what you tell me.

Hello everyone, as many of you know, cryptocurrency casinos have chat rooms in different languages and those chat rooms have rules so that there is a bearable coexistence between users, some rules they have is to speak the language of the chat room and not spam, those who are in charge of enforcing the rules are the moderators and something I wanted to know is if the moderators are paid a salary for their work, at the wolf casino a friend who was a moderator told me that if they paid a monthly salary But it was very little according to him, if someone has been a moderator in another casino or knows about the subject, they can tell me their experience, for example in my country, which is Colombia, the minimum wage is a little less than 300 usd per month, if a casino I would become a moderator for a salary of 300 usd per month I would accept the job

I was once a chat moderator in Bitdouble.io and i do have only $100 monthly salary. Its way too low for most people but this isnt a bad thing either since it isnt really that much having lots of users that you do need to handle
so i did accept the job and have salary and it is much better rather than have nothing at all and its a side job and i do live on a developing country which means hundred bucks would be significant and something that
you could just let it slip into your hands.

Thank you for telling your experience.

Depends on the casino.

Some casinos do have moderators as paid positions, whilst others offer a paid monthly salary.

I don't think that I've ever seen a moderator position that would pay for your bills, though. 300 USD a month actually seems quite generous. At the end of the day it's not supposed to be a full time job, it's should just be a side gig for whoever is working it.

Well I think that to ask for a job as a moderator for a casino you must be very active on the platform, as I understand it you must also be quite active on social networks, and have a lot of empathy and serve people very well, besides that you must know very Well the casino games and be something veteran, apart you must be very aware of any eventuality, there are many conditions that you must meet, in addition to availability, you must work a long time every day, if it is by schedule the safest thing is that they are rotative schedules.

^ I become once a moderator before in a casino, we have 8 hours straight shifting routine and we are 4 moderators, the salary that you wanted is quite high because before, each of us only got $200 per month and I think that is reasonable salary with an easy task by keeping talking on the group and answering questions during your shift. Try to find it there but don't expect too much on that price salary you have mentioned. While moderating, for additional income, you can find another job online that does not conflict with your current job, be resourceful.

Not far from what has been said before, you must have some special skills that are in accordance with the wishes of the casino, where they will apply certain requirements. Who doesn't want to be a moderator with a fee which for me is huge if it reaches $300 per month. Even that income for me for two months. But unfortunately, limited skills become an obstacle, minimal mastery of communication skills is an obstacle to all of this.

I guess you start with familiarizing the platform yet of your target casino, I'm sure there's a big competition in this kind of job but if you are ahead of them are you are really eager, you might still land a job. Go with the start up casino as they don't might expand and you'll be hired.

check-in the services (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0), they usually post an announcement there.

Yes, of course, moderators get a monthly salary (or paid weekly/twice a month, that can be individual). The amount depends on the casino, but for full time it shouldn’t be less than $300.
I was once offered such a job with around $580 monthly wage but had to turn it down because of the schedule.

Keep in mind, that the job may include more than just censoring the chat, but resolving issues related to depositing/withdrawal, giving major explanations and advices, etc. Also, the schedule can be pretty overwhelming. For instance, the reason why I refused to take the job was that it required me to be online for 14-16 hours a day, sometimes night shifts. I personally have studying and another steady job, plus I didn’t like the idea that I wouldn’t be able to go out and hang out with friends whenever I want, because of crazy working hours. Of course, you don’t really WORK all these hours, you just have to be around the computer/phone and be able to respond whenever the request comes and look through the chat.

Generally, I think this work would be suitable for people who are in desperate need of money and literally have nothing else to do because to do this effectively you’d need to devote a lot of time.

Some are paid and some are volunteers for the community, especially on those casinos that only opened recently. I personally knew 3 chat moderators on different gambling platforms before and all of them are paid, although not in an amount that is really livable considering that they are not required to be on the chat rooms at all times. Plus they are also given free credits on the casino on top of what they are already being paid for. IMO it's already a nice incentive if you are someone who spends much of their time on the casinos, and it also help you enhance your social skills too.

300 usd a month can be much, or can be low.

In fact, it all depends not only on the work you will be submitted to (where the number of hours is the most influencing factor) but also on the country where you live.
For some people, $300/month barely pays a week's food, for others $300 is more than minimum wage.
That's the wonder of working with cryptos when there aren't boundaries for remote work or payments.

A person who is multilingual is much more likely to find good jobs and receive higher salaries, as it allows administrators to support more countries and thus attract more players... everyone wins

Moderators aren't volunteers, they are hired workforce. Also, in most cases moderators aren't choosen online, usually they are hired the way they hire customer support operators. Pay rate depends on the country, for example, Fortunejack operates in Tbilisi, Georgia and their pay rate is very, very low if we compare it to more developed countries. Officially, the average salary in this country is $400 but in reality it's $200. I can tell you that the salary of Customer Support is $250. No one from UK/USA or from western europe would work on such salary, most people make that salary in two days.

So, salary depends on where the casino operates when they hire the local employees.

That's also a real job. If they don't get paid, there's no sense for them to stay there and only do that as a charity. But these are casinos, they make money so they also pay their staff to maintain the good satisfaction that their gamblers will have.
Watch out on the Services as there are moderator jobs that are being posted there. If there's none then go to freelancing sites, usually they are hiring those platforms.

It is obvious that those people are being paid however I'm not really sure what you're really asking, it seems that you want to get a job just like that but I do not think that you're going to find anyone in the forum that is going to offer you to do something like that.

Also just as a recommendation, do not reveal the country in which you are living, I know that this is very common in social media but when it comes to the world cryptocurrencies it is a good idea to keep your privacy to not share that information that openly.

There are moderators that get paid and others that don't since i've seen some regular users become moderators at one point but they're not that active like the other moderators
These are the moderators who do the job voluntarily, though they still get tips and I guess that's okay.

Also, having a work such a casino chat moderator should not be considered as a stable and regular job, coz ofc, it's not that high enough for some countries minimum wage and should not be compared of. Still better to have another set of sideline jobs than only having only one.

On nitrogensports their moderators are like a bonus position since their support team manages the chat. Imo don't expect much on a moderator position since not all chats are that active and require heavy moderation unless they're asking for more tasks similar to a support.

Salary should be clarified on the first place and if you are looking for a job and didnt really like the payrate then you can simply ignore and find for another job as simple as that. Its true that you should make your complaints
before not after on accepting the job since  you do agree into those set-up then deal with it. $300 a month is decent for those who do live on 3rd world country but not for those who live on rich ones.
It does depend on the needs of a particular person because having a job online is never been easy so at least his friend still a blessed one.

When you are tending to apply or accept a job then factors should be considered or to be asked first neither it would fir into your criteria/preference or not.

1. Technicality of the job
2. Salary
3. Time frame

And  this is where agreement do happen. If you do accept then you don't have right to complain on how much they've been paying.
This isn't an issue about minimum wage difference on each country because it would really be that normal.
